Have you done that? I sometimes do. If there are several varieties, I'll sample them to see which one I want to buy. I figure they are going to charge me enough to pay for them.
Of course! And I "test" cherries, too. Nothing is more annoying than paying $6 a pound for crummy tasting grapes.
WOW..... you guys must have a much cleaner grocery store than I do. I even clean around cans and the top of my milk jug before using them. The WalMart closest to me is called 'ghetto mart'. They don't even have self check-out due to theft. High point - you don't even have to brush your hair before going.
