After seeing Brad Pitt win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, we rented this movie. Talking about an awful movie, to us anyway. I don't think I've ever watched a movie that had so many "F" and "MF" words in it, by most actors. It was insane! And, to see Leonardo DiCaprio as a cowboy??? We wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone, unless they really like hearing those two words and more.
Kids will see the movie and feel it is acceptable to use that kind of language in public. A girl I once dated and I went for a walk in a park and came upon some high school age kids using that type of language loudly. She admonished them equally loudly to my astonishment. I thought both of us might get attacked but no. The kids were saying what did they do? Foul language has been normalized by the "entertainment" media. They have also normalized other things that were formerly abnormal. It's out there.
@Cody Fousnaugh There must have been thousands of other words spoken also, both good and bad, but those two are adequate to condemn the movie unequivicobly? Frank
