That's why I got another wired one. The wire is a nuisance, but I know if you plug one in Windows will find it. Not so sure with a wireless one, although the wireless printer was easy to set up. I'm on a roll right now, and don't want anything to slow me down, or ruin my mood.
The wireless are equally simple. Most of them are either USB or have a physical "dongle" that plugs into a USB port. EDIT: Actually, I just realized that I should have said "either bluetooth or USB." (Brain blip) Bluetooth devices don't need a physical connector such as a dongle... which is another name for a receiver.
Have you ever ordered something online because you were hungry or thirsty for it at the time? I do that all the time. Finding nothing cold to drink in my refrigerator, I'll order some Sap! Maple sodas from Amazon, although they usually take about a week to get here, and I'll do the same with snacks, although those will usually show up within a couple or three days. Although it doesn't satisfy my immediate need, I know I'll still be thirsty for Maple sodas whenever they do arrive.
I just purchased a packet of three volt batteries for my flashlight. I'll get them tomorrow via Amazon
Friday I tried ordering dinner on-line for us. The system kept making the pickup date Saturday. So I finally gave up and went to the restaurant. Everything was ok except the amount of time wasted waiting for the cooking to be done. So I took their survey and rated them accordingly and then proceeded to tell them what had happened on FB. Late yesterday I get an email with a gift certificate to finance the next meal. BTW it was Longhorn Steakhouse.
I tried to phone it in but connection was horrible and person on other end was not exclusive to my call. I hung up when I found him talking to someone else while I was on line.
I don't buy stuff my wife does. Love those wireless mice, will never go back to the wire.........On a different note.......Do you buy more when you're on a shopping trip at stores or online. When i've done my power shopping trips, i find i buy more than what's on my list, mostly not needed, bring the stuff home and more often than not, don't use it or wear it. My online shopping, i buy what i'm in need of, for me, a lot less waisted money spent.
That only happens to me when I go grocery shopping. Otherwise it's always buying only what I went looking for.
