[ Please bear with me when you readers find the formatting of this post a bit strange, but the thoughts are intelligible, though. ]

I was deciding where to put the present thread: in the Philosophy & Psychology forum, or in the Faith & Religion forum.

And I decided for Philosophy & Psychology, because I see Philosophy & Psychology to be more into rational investigation, while Faith and Religion are more into emotional orientation.

Now, what is my concept of God in philosophy? My concept of God in philosophy is that God in concept is the creator cause of man and the universe and everything with a beginning.

What about my concept of God in religion? To my thinking God in religion is a superior being that man looks to for favors of all kinds, to keep him alive for long years and living in good circumstances.

What about my colleagues here, what are your comments on my post here?[/B]

If you a strong believer then God allows a philosophical investigation, philosophy being a pursuit of wisdom, a study of realities. For the atheist, God is a myth and only its human creators can be studied.)

You are talking in an impersonal way, suppose yo tell me what are your very own self thought out concepts of God?

I think Anderson will be around pretty soon, to tell readers about his concept of God and his concept of religion, and not in an impersonal manner.

Dear Kirk, at this point I am asking for people to proffer their own self thought out concepts of God, then we will work out what could be our concurred on concepts of God, in philosophy and in religion.

It took years of questioning myself & comparing science to the bible to come to my reality there is no God that created mankind. So I can't proffer thoughts other that my previous sentence on what I don't believe is real.

    Dear Kird:

Suppose for the sake of exchange of thoughts, you and I just take for the time being, my concepts of God in philosophy and in religion, namely:

"Now, what is my concept of God in philosophy? My concept of God in philosophy is that God in concept is the creator cause of man and the universe and everything with a beginning.

What about my concept of God in religion? To my thinking God in religion is a superior being that man looks to for favors of all kinds, to keep him alive for long years and living in good circumstances."

These are my concepts of what is God in philosophy and what is God in religion.

You ask me, How did you develop your concepts?

By thinking on truths, facts, logic, and the history of ideas.

I cut out the repetitive parts to get to the part where you posted truths, facts, logic, and the history of ideas

    !.. What truths?
    2. What facts?
3.. logic developed from what source?
    4. The history of ideas had to come from someone else so maybe you could list the source of those ideas.
