It might be an interesting read, and it’s free on Kindle and in other formats, as well. I’ll probably read it during our trip to the timeshare in a week or so. It’s fiction, of course, but based on the author’s idea of what’s going on.
The author is Professor Emeritus at the University of Northern Ohio, where he teaches in the Computer Science Department. I came across the book because I am working on the Programming category at Aviva right now, and he is the author of a few books on various programming languages. This didn't seem like the sort of book that I'd expect from someone in academia.
Apropos of nothing, this reminded me that when I was young and stupid I attended a reception with my graduate-student boyfriend. He introduced me to the Professor Emeritus of the University of Houston School of Chemical Engineering. I thought his name was "Professor Emeritus." Carry on.
