It's been melting for the last couple of days so, even if we do end up with significant snowfall, I don't think it'll be too horrible.

Well NJ is significantly further south than Maine, Ken, and we've had mostly spring like weather throughout Feb. It has been the warmest for us on record. Usually we are knee deep in snow and ice at this time of the year and as I told Bill, I feel as though I've gone through a time warp. Most unusual. Snow squalls are a rarity for us as well, but we keep having them periodically. Then back to the 50s again.

It is supposed to be down in the 20’s here tonight, and the snow is going to be wishing 30 miles of us, from the radar picture. It shows it just touching the Tennessee/Alabama line, so if it drops further, we could see a bit of snow also.
By next week, we are supposed to be having warmer weather again, and I am totally ready for Spring to arrive !
Then, the next weekend is time change, so we have more daylight in the afternoon, and I like that, too.

Yeah, it's been a fairly easy winter here too, and I think it's about over. We'll have some more snow but I predict an early spring.

Here it was wet snow (combination of rain and snow) falling like rain then it changed to snow then the temperature dropped. This morning steps and sidewalk were covered with snow underneath nothing but ice.Today's temps expected to remain just above freezing.

Most generally we get more than is predicted. 24 inches sure wasn't predicted for our storm in November, but that's what we got. Funny, when we lived here in Colorado before, the snow prediction seemed to be higher than predicted. And, of course, there's always that possibility of us getting some 6 inches on Mother's Day Weekend, like we have seen a few times before. That is when the last of our winter snow hits, except for in the Rockies.

But, here, winter is just a part of living here. However, not as bad as some states, like Montana, the Dakota's and the Great Lakes States, but still winter.

Just looked at your weather forecast and you are on a "rollercoaster" ride there. Sunday high of 56 and then back up to 80 by the middle of next week.
We can have temperature sways like that also, but definitely not 80 this time of year. That would be a record high for us!
