Good morning to you all we are busy packing to catch the first of two trains to our next destination Unawatuna, we have splashed out ( it's only $60 a night so not a fortune ) and are staying in a penthouse built into the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean.

IHolly I hope things are improving for your daughter in whatever way is possible, my thoughts are with you in this tough time.
The rest of you have as pain free and enjoyable day as possible.

Hatches battened today, I think. The wind is screaming like a banshee trapped in a sunlit room. Indoors seems the only option.

I'm working from home today..thank goodness because the weather is really stinky and I'm happy to be indoors out of the wind and rain..

Sounds like your next destination is going to be very pretty Terry...

Hope everyone has a lovely day.... :)

I got new batteries for the pole saw Wednesday so with temps in the 60s I spent some time cutting limbs and dragging them to the burn area. My old body doesn't last too long but I got a lot done. I'll be doing more of the same as temps are supposed to be near 70 for the next several days.
Wishing a good day for everyone.

Good Morning, Everyone. It's a bright sunshiny Friday here. The temperature is warming up a bit, it's 54 now, and no doubt the sun will climb that higher before the day is done. I was able to run out to the store yesterday, so have everything I need until next week, yay. Migraine's still hanging on, but it's not as severe as it was, thankfully. Hope everyone has a nice day!

image.jpg Good morning everyone, cloudy but warm day. Made my last school lunch and only have a couple of meals left to come up with for grandsons. My job is almost over! :)
Have to find out where the basketball game that my grandson is playing in tomorrow, go to that and hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Uh.... good morning? And yes, I really do know that it's 4:30 p.m.! I've been going strong since 4 this morning and it's time for a break! Nothing I'd rather do than check up on you all.

I'm so sorry to hear about the migraine, @Diane Lane :( Is that related to the fibro?
@Chrissy Page , enjoy the game... sounds like fun!
Be careful with that saw, @Sheldon Scott , and I hope it was a fabulous day for you!
@Tom Locke , what a wonderfully exciting day for you! Huge congratulations to you!
I haven't read anything about what's going on with you, @Holly Saunders ... but if you need to talk, PM me... always ready to listen.
@Terry Page , I don't think we've "met" yet, but I've enjoyed your posts very much.
@Ruby Begonia , how was your day?
@Joe Riley ... got any coffee left?
@Ina I. Wonder ... did you enjoy your Friday?

That's all the good morning messages I see.. but @Ike Willis is always here... has he signed in today?!

Everyone else, enjoy your evening and weekend! I apologize if I missed anyone from the good morning thread!

Thanks, Mari....not my first basketball game with 5 grandsons nor will it be my last. Some are actually good though, if it's a close game. This will probably be on the boring side, they really just started, might be there second game. I'm just thinking about sitting on those uncomfortable bleachers with no backs.

Thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to offer good wishes. I sometimes wonder if my egocentric drivel is a bit much, but it's not every day you have a book published, so I'll probably calm down soon. Maybe not, but I'll try.

Drivel on, Tom. If I had a book published I would be talking non stop about it. It's a huge achievement and you have every reason to be proud.

Oh @Tom Locke , enjoy your accomplishment for as long as you can. I know we are all proud to know you. Drivel is hard to imagine coming from you, since you are not prone to it. I bet your wife and family are ecstatic.
