    What company is this?

I saw a copy of a request for a patent on a corona virus filed back in 2015 for use of making vaccine for corona viruses, such as bronchitis. NOT for Covid 19. Covid 19 is the name for this new (novel) corona virus.

This site is nothing I would take seriously, but thanks anyway.

Well look on the bright side your wife is an asset to you.

This its getting bad in the UK and hats off to Trump as well

Deaths have doubled and cases up by two thirds in a matter of days.

Was planning to fly to Vegas at the end of May and stay for four weeks and lose ten grand but have put it off.

Hope to go in November for Thanks Giving if things settle down.

Have a friend who has just come back from Vegas two flights aday direct to London one flight cancled other one half empty.

    Same flying to Spain.

The World is shutting down sad to say

Well, we just got back from the Wellness Center and it was nowhere near as busy as it normally is on a Sunday afternoon.
The workout areas only had about 10 people including myself and from what I saw, the pool only had Yvonne and 2 or 3 other swimmers.
On the bright side of that, there were two doctors on the treadmills and one of them is a major pediatrician here in Huntsville so if they’re not too worried about catching the virus ..............

Ya know, call it a character flaw if one so wishes but I really can’t see why anyone should panic.
I know that the dangers exist but I cannot control what goes on but I absolutely can be very aware of it’s presence but that’s the extent of my concern about the virus itself. Control what I can and leave the rest alone for someone else who feels the need to be depressed or panic.
That said, whilst the virus itself has no large effect on my emotional status, people do and the inevitable stupidity exhibited by a large portion of the population is something everyone should be doubly aware of.

That is just one of the websites talking about the corona virus and the Gates Foundaton, you just have to look online and you will find it, @Ruby Begonia . The company that owns the patent is the Pirbright Institute, which is funded by the Gates Foundation.

Well we actually got a blessing because of the virus chaos this morning. My Honey still works part-time at a small country store down the street from our home. We got a call from his boss today...he told my Honey that he is worried about me being exposed to the virus...and he wants my husband to take the next two weeks off with pay. Although we both put our faith in God as far as this virus is concerned...we still feel that this was a very nice thing for his boss to do.

One State Governor is saying, young folks aren't taking the warning seriously enough, being that many of them were out at bars and clubs on Friday and Saturday nights...……...so they are being closed down. Really wish that Millennials had more common sense! No matter what, many only think of partying on Friday/Saturday nights. The Governor said that he had to do something to stop this.

After closing the schools, I would have expected that.

Yes, it is very hard for those "party" type Millennials to sit at home and read a book. But, many do love computer/tv games, but not on a Friday or Saturday night.

We have been staying home, but that's what we do anyway, except for trips to the Y. They say on tv that it's not being taken seriously enough. But I'm a pessimist. We are in that group that have bad health as well, so....we are the type to err on the side of caution.

Neither of us have "bad health" for-to-say, but we still are cautious. During our winter months, we are at home a whole lot more than during the summer months. But, during winter months, we still like to go out for breakfast and/or dinner and go someplace where a live country band is playing. None of that is happening currently.

Kids are going to do whatever kids do no matter what generation we’re speaking of.
The little ditty “ring around the rosy) was a chant and game that kids played.......during the Black Plague.

I would venture to write that unless the disease was on the front door step of a teen or even someone in their early 20’s, they aren’t really phased by something deadly. Even then, if it didn’t happen to them personally, a virus like this is still a whole galaxy away.
Heck, if I remember right, I too was immortal and impervious to all the deadly things that happened to everyone else and if the truth be told, so were all of my peers when we were young, dumb and eager to take whatever life gave us and we did it with a full head of steam.

In a ver strange way, I’m beginning to appreciate what is going on because of a panic stricken world over the virus.

One of the good things that I am experiencing is that people write or call to see how we are. As I wrote a couple of times, I hate phones because no one has ever called me (except my wife) to simply ask how I am. Everyone always wants something but now, people actually use the phone and write emails to see how I, or rather, we are.

Another thing I appreciate is the confinement. No, I do not like to be confined and I like my freedom as much as anyone else, but as an experiment in social behavior, everyone used to have such a attitude of “I can go anywhere and do anything” and do and go without even really thinking about how free they are.
Now, not so much. Our freedom is being tested as well as our attitude in the light of something much greater than our personal enjoyment and yes, even the ability to put food on the table or congregate in our favorite restaurants or even our church.
Why, even those “inalienable rights” we speak so highly of are not so inalienable any longer and for how long that will be is questionable. No freedom of public assembly, and as far as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we’re extremely limited on how far we can interpret those rights because of the restrictions that are, even as I write this small commentary, are growing larger and will encompass more to limit more activity.

What I’m driving at is that maybe this episode of a tragedy gone berserk is more of an eye opener and a lesson in humility. In the wake of the whole affair, many people are out there being concerned for each other, caring for each other and helping however they can. People who forgot how to pray are relearning snd reaching to touch the hand of God.

Maybe I’m a little weird but to some extent, I think we needed this. We needed to stop and think of what our lives are really all about instead of centering on ourselves and enjoying the freedoms that we are rarely thankful for. It’s time for families to start coming back together and yes, take some time to count our blessings because frankly, after this small test of mankind, I really do not think we will see things the same willy nilly way we did just a month ago.
