I don't believe that it was designed to kill the elderly but I do believe that it came from the virology labs in China. The Chinese virologists didn't invent the virus but were probably tinkering with it in the lab, either to weaponize it or, for all we know, they may have been seeking a cure for the common cold. I think it just got away from them. Conspiracy theories are fun to play with and I don't doubt some of them are true. But we'll never know. It is not as if China is the only country in the world playing around with viruses. The Americans have their own virology labs and I don't think we want to know what they do there. This is probably true of every developed country and probably not restricted to developed countries.

I don't know that they created the crisis but they are surely taking advantage of it. You don't have to look very deep to see that. In what we are led to believe is a bill to save the American people from this horrible virus, Congress distributed $32 Million amongst themselves in raises and American citizens are going to get but a tiny percentage of the pork in that bill. But hell, we don't care. We're scared.

Some on social media are spreading a false rumor that House Democrats are trying to slip in funds to increase their own pay into the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The House version of the bill did not include that, nor did the Republican controlled Senate version.

Congressional member salaries are funded through the Treasury pursuant to the Constitution and are not funded through appropriations. The 1989 Ethics Reform Act established an automatic adjustment formula to decide annual changes to lawmakers’ salaries.

The funding is to support the House’s capability to telework, including the purchase of equipment and improvements to the network, provide for reimbursement costs for the staff of the House Child Care Center and cover the costs of the House food service contracts.

I am not even going to posit one opinion or another regarding this virus as to how it began nor the intentions of anyone associated with it at its outset. Conspiracy theories leave me cold and actually serve no purpose whatsoever. They often lead to unnecessary fears and are often fraught with misinformation. Snippets from various sources which evolve into an entire treatise on the subject is more irresponsible than someone mistakingly shaking another's hand during this pandemic. It will run its course regardless, so we best just take whatever precautions we can an look out for ourselves. Beware of the deliveries from various businesses. A delivery service brought a box from Amazon to a home, placed it before the door and the messenger proceeded to spit on the box and smear it all over the top. This was caught on the home owner's CCTV. Lot's of deranged folks running loose on our streets.

Funny that when this virus was first talked about China was showing people just falling over dead on the street. That did not happen anywhere else.

Whatever the conspiracy might be, I am quite certain there is one here because this virus does not deserve all the fuss. The numbers and the facts don't pass an examination. One thing that seems clear is that they are limiting the number of people who can be tested. No one questions this. But why? Is it really because of a shortage of testing materials, or could there be another motivation for that?

If they were to test everyone in the country (or world), we would have a big number. But then, we'd know who needed to be quarantined and all of the numbers after that would be good. For one thing, we'd probably learn that, as a percentage of the whole population, not just those who have been tested, who are largely those who are symptomatic, the virus isn't that big of a deal, and it would probably be far less than other diseases that we don't panic about. From then on, the numbers would reflect those who have recovered from the virus.

As it is, since most people have not been tested, every time we test another group of people, of course, some of them will test positive, and that number is reported worldwide. And people scream, "See, it's spreading! More and more people are testing positive every week! Please, come take my rights away before we all die!"

I read an article from a Nurse that was working in one of the hospitals taking care of corona virus patients...and she said she had looked at a couple of charts of deceased patients that said they died from bronchitis and pneumonia. Later those same charts had been changed to say those patients died of the corona virus. I'm sure the virus is real, but there's a lot more to this virus than most of us think. When it is over...our world is not going to be the same world we knew before. And I'm just praying that it will be a far better place for all of us...and not an even worse one.

No doubt, it's some kind of a play. Already, government has become far more powerful than our worst fears only a couple of months ago and Americans are applauding the removal of everything this country was founded on.

In my opinion it is the Puppet Masters behind our government that are holding the power and pulling the puppets (our government officials) strings...while our President is doing a fine job of snipping those strings one by one. And it is not Americans that are applauding the removal of everything America was founded on...but those followers of the Puppet Masters.

If a person gets pneumonia after being laid up because of coronavirus symptoms, ie, breathing compromised, and there was only one choice for cause of death, the virus makes more sense than the pneumonia. They likely wouldn't have got the pneumonia without the virus. Not the other way around. On the death certificates here they have a place to list 3 causes. The nurse sounds a bit naive.

When are media, CDC, and WHO going to apologize to Trump for forcing through Hydroxychloroquine the FDA so it can be used to cure millions. They are now using it in India as a preventative. Or am i just dreaming again.

I have to do a little more research in order to clear up some doubts about the use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine.

When I was in Vietnam as a combat soldier, we were issued chloroquine once a week as a preventative measure against malaria.
The problem that a majority of us was that the malaria preventative also caused a continuous case of the green apple quick steps.
Because of that, many of us (such as myself) quit taking the pill with the idea that loading your pants in the middle of a fire fight wasn’t in any way shape or form the best way to keep a person concentrating on the fight at hand.
Note: Though it may read and sound funny, it wasn’t and I am actually being deadly serious.

Now, with all that in mind and the global mortality rates for people with diarrhea, I am a little concerned with the proposed cure or prevention for the virus.
Seniors 70 and older who suffer from diarrhea have a mortality rate of nearly 95% globally so in my way of thinking, giving a senior something that is supposed to ease the virus might also be an aid to kill him or her via the runs.
I guess if a person were given the proper electrolytes to combat the chem losses might help out but as I wrote in the beginning, I have to do some more research on my own to feel more comfortable with the proposed cure.
With the present mortality rate in the U.S. being a little over 4% for the corona virus, I’m not too sure that the cure is better than simply riding out the virus.

We would take the drug when we went on holidays to places which had a malaria problem and I never remember having any side effects thank goodness.

They may have buffered it some since 1968 or maybe that’s where the hydroxy comes in but either way, if presented the pill as a preventative measure I am going to hit the books hard before I take it.
I’m still a little gun shy over Obama’s statement he made on the campaign trail. Paraphrased, he said that the elderly do not need a cure or major surgery but instead, give them a pill to make them feel more comfortable.

One interesting thing is coming out. In India a country with a population of 1 billion people had their first case of in early March the same time as US. India have a small amount of deaths in comparison to their population. This is an over crowed country perfect for a large amount of death. As of 6 minutes ago it was 53 dead and 2,639 infected that is less than the D.R. what is going on. The biggest difference is India first choice in medical care is homeopath doctors medicine and not Rockefeller medicine even though it is there.
