I was thinking that in the current sociopolitical climate, someone could lie on every one of the census questions and just claim that they identify as something different than what they are. For example, you may believe me to be a 68-year-old married white male who lives in Millinocket, Maine, but I might identify as a 12-year-old black female from Macon, Georgia. I haven't lied. I'm in transition. In perspective, the census questions are rather pointless.
Got it in the mail last week and filled out online a couple of days later. Then, this week, got another one. Had printed out the Confirmation of doing it online and stapled to notice we got in the mail. Threw away the one we got this week. No financial things asked, but race, birth date/age and asked a few times about how many people live in our household. Also asked if we had mortgage or rental.
I filled mine out. Someone on another place told me it's take two minutes. Took me ten. But that's alright, I know I'm a little slow. Anyway, I've gotten three other notices since I've filled out the online census. Suppose they're doing the best they can. Everyone is not as smart as we are.
