That is good news Kate. Boy you must have been having a tuff time waiting for the results. Now more than 200 from that ship have tested positive... and rising. Still no word from the cruise line.

While the doctors, nurses and emergency workers are stressed out and dying, people are emptying supermarkets and later dumping excess food. I found a carrier bag full of unopened packets in a nearby litter bin. An advert in the Times today offered 250ml of hand sanitiser for £15.99. I have a personal bottle of 50ml bought just before the crisis that cost me 75p.
It reminds me of WW2 when black market operators were offering anything, at a price. They had scrounged their way out of fighting while our parents alongside gallant American soldiers were dying by the thousand.

It’s just as bad here in Australia while crime gangs strip our shelves bare to send products over seas
( proved and by current affair programs and also mentioned by our PM calling them crime gangs )

current affair program filmed several people coming out of supermarkets leaving bags with one gang member then going back in to buy more .
Also filmed packing stuff into shipping containers https://9now.nine.com.au/a-current-...to-china/bab60476-81c3-4956-b252-dcabdb49923a
others are charging outrages prices for hand sanitizers liquid soaps even a simple bottle of pine o clean or bleach
ect then don’t get me started about eBay and gumtree allowing scammers to re sell products online
    .
I was looking for a thermometer ( no touch type ) that normally sell for around the $35 mark I had a brand / model ect I wanted as I’d spent some time online researching which one was best the cheapest I could find was around $180 ~ $250 on line

Then I came across a place that mainly sells to schools in my home state I got one for myself and one for my daughter for $39 each

Yeh. Our health officials still maintain they were given erroneous info from the ships doctor re the correct number of passengers showing flu-like symptoms. But admit they "could have done things differently". So they are taking some of the blame now. Carnival still denying they emailed incorrect data to the on shore doctors. So the blame game continues and meanwhile seven Ruby Princess passengers are dead and somewhere between 300/350 are infected.

A "secret midnite phone call from a Ruby Princess senior official" to one of our health officials that there were no coronavirus cases on board is now at the centre of this death ship incident. It has now dragged on into its third week with everyone continuing to play the 'blame game' while innocent Australians are dying and those infected has now climbed to a worrying 510.. and rising. Watch this space.

The Australian Police Commissioner has instigated a criminal investigation into the Ruby Princess incident. The press is calling it a 'fiasco'. Things now getting very serious with a further three passenger deaths taking the total to 10 and infections rising to more than 600. Little written today in papers or online about the "secret midnite phone call". Adding further mystery.

The floating hell ship, Ruby Princess has sailed south to Port Kembla and the locals are far from happy with some 100 crew members showing COVID-19 symptoms and set to be moved to local hospitals.

I live an easy 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Adelaide and we get swamped with visitors over Easter .,I hope all these
2nd home owners stay home. (I only have one home ) :)

Most of the tourist attractions are closed that normally attract the visitors however allot of the second home owners / holiday makers will swamp the beach making it risky for us as residents to go for our daily walk along the beach.. I hope our local council don’t close it because of irresponsible idiots

Just yesterday there was a fairly young woman with 7 kids ( quite obliviously not all her kids ) picnicking on a small lawn area across the road from my home .,our premier keeps saying STAY HOME ..some have rocks in their heads

On a different note I’d love to known WHO the reporter was who asked our PM at a press conference a few days ago ...to quote ...”Why all this fuss when it’s only old people dying”:mad: the PM response was( All Australians Matter )

Well has any of these know all reporters looked at the statistics .....:( may that DH live long enough to be “old”

Notice the DARK BLUE ..that’s the number who have contacted the virus overseas or been in contact with someone who has been OS

of all this damn cheer leading and pandering being done by everyone from my credit card companies to my trash hauler.
"We are in this together" what the hell does that even mean?
"We will get through this" Well most of us will, but not by skill,or accomplishment, just plain dumb luck, for those who have died the sentiment is rather rubbing their noses in it.
My e-mail is full of my politicians telling me what heroes they are on the front lines of the "battle",everyone of them having the CDC recommendation list.
Any company that I have had even a momentary flirtation with is letting me know they love support me and have my back.
Does anyone find comfort or strength in any of these platitudes? I am Captain Cynical and I find them just plain irritating.
