    Don’t know a whole lot about my stepmother’s mother, but my dad’s mom....my grandmother certainly didn’t do a lot of dancing.
    A Pentecostal preacher’s wife didn’t dance, go to movies, didn’t read much of anything except the Bible etc.

    My dad on the other hand, did a lot of dancing and especially liked the Texas Bop and the Jitterbug.

    I can't picture either one of my grandmother's doing anything more than a genteel waltz but my parents were champion jitterbuggers. Boy, could they dance! Even in their late 50's, they could cut some moves.

    My grandmother was more apt to be "clogging" to fiddle music.
