That is awesome , @Trevalius Guyus ! I don’t think that we have any grocery stores here that do fresh-ground peanut butter, but I am sure that I would enjoy that.

I like the more natural peanut butter, that is not made with all of the sugar and added hydrogenated oils, but most of those natural ones, you have to try and stir, and then refrigerate, and then they are hard to spread.
I don’t eat a lot of peanut butter, but I do like it with fresh apples, and on celery occasionally. I tried making peanut butter from raw peanuts once, but that didn’t turn out well, so I have not done that ever again.
Bobby is happy with whatever comes in the largest jars, so as long as he has some , and it is creamy peanut butter, all is well in our little world.

I rarely buy peanut butter because I like it, and I eat too much of it if it's around.

Well, I have a new favorite this week. Just a slight touch of honey for sweetness.

Skippy is my fave. Every once in a while I'll try something else but it never works out for me.

I really enjoy peanut butter and apples, but I need to get more of the organic kind that does not have sugar in it. I was just watching this video about the health benefits of eating good peanut butter with apples or celery. We used to make the celery with peanut butter and raisins when I worked at the academy, and it was called “Ants on a Log”. The kids loved it, and it was both healthy and delicious.

Consumer's Guide rates Jif as the best on the market. I think it really depends on individual taste. I just read that we shouldn't eat too much of it due to the hydrogenated oils it is made with. Goes to show you that I don't always read labels as I did not know this.

The first cardiologist that I had said I could eat a dab of pb that was the size of my thumb once per month. I like pb so I didn't follow his advice. I don't eat it often but when I don't a LOt bigger than mythumb

PB and potato chips, sliced pickles, or bean sprouts sandwiches.
It does not matter to me which brand, they pretty much taste the same to me as long as it is crunchy type.

My favorite is Adams natural but in my old age, I am cranky about the stirring process. My wrist no longer has the strength to get the oil mixed back in and using a butter knife to get the dry hard chunks off the bottom usually ends up a difficult-to-clean mess all over the countertop when one dislodges and goes flying out. Now I use the Jif natural which I refrigerate because despite their claims, does go rancid in a few days. When it smells too high heaven, that is an indication something is putrid in peanutville.

Yes, yes, I know that the Jif natural no stir has palm oil and my eating it endangers the Chinese Pandas, but those little bi-colored mostly veggie heads need to pull up some big bear grizzly panties and expand their diet to include more meat. The occasional bamboo rat isn't enough to save the palms for oil. :D
