Joe also wrote to me sometime around last thanksgiving, and he said that trying to keep up with both forums was hard, and he wanted to mainly focus on SF, so he was closing everything (all of his shops) on this forum. The Coffee Shop thread was only closed because Joe asked for Ken to do that. Joe does still come around occasionally, he just does not write a lot any more. Just for the record, I was not referring to the thread that was CLOSED at Joe's request. I was trying to figure out which threads were merged that upset him. I still see the "Coffee Funnies & Images" thread in Make Me Laugh so that's not it. I don't recall merging any. When he came back, I remember considering merging a new thread that he started to replace the old one, then reopening the old one, but I don't think I did. If I had, I would have reopened the old one.
I'm here. Spent a little time on another forum, one without political comment, my wife has needed extra attention, she's legally blind and what little sight she has is diminishing, and I forgot my password to this forum. I changed a while back. I was usinng one password for everything and decided to add one. I guess I didn't write it down anywhere as I usually do and couldn't find it. I took the password from a world figure that I had admired, a few letters of that world leader's name but couln't remember it. I finally did but didn't login right away. Now this roll call thread reminds me of a story. Cheers all.
