That is definitely not the site I'm on. Here is the email address that I have to receive invites to surveys. I didn't see a referral link when I looked.so I'm guessing there isn't one. http://acrossthefencecommunity.com/. How come it didn't turn blue like yours? Oh, there it is.

Okay, everyone. I have just found out that the site is a private online community. So I guess that means you have to receive an invitation. Yvonne and I both contacted the site's moderator for more information on how to join this community. We will keep you updated. I apologize for any inconvenience to those who tried to access the site.

I heard from the site moderator at Across The Fence. Here is the response.

    Hi Yvonne,

Thank you for your interest in inviting your friend to join Across the Fence! Unfortunately we are currently not accepting new members at this time, but we'll be sure to announce it in the community if we ever start opening the community to friends of members. Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Again I apologize for the inconvenience. The next time I will read more thoroughly before making a reference.

Yes, they wrote back to me as well, and said that they are not taking any new members right now. I guess that you were lucky to get invited, and if you discover which survey company sent you the working referral, maybe you can jut tell us that and we can sign up with the same survey company as you did, and get referred in that way.
Thank you for sharing it with us anyway, @Von Jones . It was a good plan, it just didn't come together like it was supposed to; but your heart was in the right place to think of all of us.

I only do the Ipsos surveys as a backup activity, and because I enjoy the Poll Predictors and chance to win items. Eventually, though, the points should add up to a gift card. What I truly like about Ipsos is that they will sometimes have product trials and also focus groups. That's where the money really is.

You Gov is a slow goer for me, but I'm sure eventually it will culminate in some sort of payment.

That's a shame that they're not taking new members @Von Jones, it sounds like a site that many here would be interested in. Hopefully they'll open up the membership again at some point.

Ha, after posting this, I decided to check in with Ipsos, and completed a few surveys. It was enough to push me over the cashing out threshold. I got the message that it would take one to three weeks for me to get my money in my PayPal account, so I'm interested to see how long it actually takes. Some companies say that, then you get it a lot quicker than you expect, but I'm not sure that will be the case, since I haven't even gotten an email acknowledging my requested cash out yet.

I had given up on Ipsos for a while because the surveys would always get stuck on just one question and I couldn't complete it. I did make my frustration known to the support team. They responded with change to Internet Explorer instead of Google Chrome. What!? What kind of answer is that? Well to avoid the problem I just didn't start Ipsos when their surveys popped up as a partner of another site. I would say it has been four maybe five months now and one popped up and I said to myself, "Hmmm, let me see if I can get through this survey on Google Chrome." It works fine now. I haven't reached a cash out yet but I'm getting there. Yea!!!

Hmm, that's a weird response. Ipsos is usually pretty responsive to me, although it may take up to a week to hear back from them. Usually sites recommend using Chrome instead of another browser. I've noticed lately that more and more sites seem browser specific, though. I use one for promotion of my shops, and for one of the shops I have to use Firefox, although i use the Chrome extension for the other shop with the same promotion app. It's weird, but I've learned to work around it, and I'm paying them. My computer is getting older, so I'm noticing more of these inconsistencies. I guess it's how they force you to upgrade your tech. I had the same issue when i was using an Apple iPod Touch, the apps were starting to not work with my system, which is why I ended up getting an Android tablet, because it was a lot cheaper than replacing/upgrading the touch or buying an iPad.

My favorite survey sites are pineconeresearch.com and opinionoutpost. com . Both places you build up points by doing surveys that they send to you and you can get gift cards or cash, by check or Paypal, or you can order from stores from their rewards page. Also you never lose you points from month to month or year to year. I hate sites that if you don't use them within a certain time they delete them. But I have been a member of both of them for years and am very satisfied.

One of the websites that I do surveys for is called Schlesinger Group. They do surveys about health issues, and since I have the afib and heart failure, and other heart problems, they send me surveys every week.
Most of the surveys are just short ones, but some of them will qualify people for a longer, more detailed survey. With the short surveys, they give you points, like most other surveys do, which you can cash in for Amazon or Walmart gift cards once you accumulate enough points.

If you qualify for one of the large surveys, then you can earn cash gift cards.
I just did one that was a 5-day diary about heart failure that I did online each night, and they sent me a $200 gift card for that. It is a prepaid Visa, so it can be used anywhere.
Now, they have a 2 hour online video follow-up, and that will pay me a $250 gift card afterwards.

If you have medical issues that you would be willing to do surveys about, and want to earn a little extra cash, I think that this is a great company, and I have done surveys there for several years now.

Here is my sign-up link . I don’t think you get any extra points for using it, but it is an easy way to sign up.

Focus Group also has a facebook page, and they have other studies besides just the health ones that I have been getting, so I am definitely going to be checking out the facebook page every day for new studies that I might qualify for.
I noticed that they have one for cat owners (@Ken Anderson ), and some that are local to certain areas; so if you are interested in earning some extra money for doing surveys, this is one of the best ones that I have found, and I enjoy the surveys.
