A Cure for Wellness. Dont know where to start on this slow burning oddity. Once it finally got going it descended into convolution. Some silliness about a green company man sent to return a wayward chairman who is convalescing at a Swiss health resort. We discover that the resort's director is a reincarnated medieval baron and he is carrying out some bizarre experiments on his patients.
Dont waste your precious time on this.

I just watched "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". Nothing but shouting, drinking, and arguing throughout the film.

The name "Big Daddy" must have been spoken 400 times!

    Tennessee Williams can keep it.

If you mean the 1960 Ocean’s Eleven than a similar movie is Robin and the 7 Hoods.

I watched Hallmarkchannel for the final time tonight. I was disappointed that a lesbian marriage was part of the show,

Well, last night was not a good night for t.v. - but that's just me. There were lots of good shows, but not too much that interested me.

So, on a lark, and just for some escapist fare, I asked my wife, who was in another room busy with paper work, what she would suggest.
She told me to use her Net Flick and look for a series or movie. So I did, while looking at the write-ups, and I came across a series that caught my attention.

The series is called Designated Survivor, starring Keiffer Sutherland. Well, as far as the plot, its a little "out there".
I thought it was very well done and very fast-moving. It got my attention, and in this day and time, very appropriate. I can't give away the plot, but it seems to be well suited for a conservative like me.

I only watched 2 episodes, and look forward to the next one tonight. Its much better than I thought it would be. I have always thought of Mr. Sutherland as a fine actor, just like his dad.

I just watched "Get On Up," the story of James Brown. Superbly portrayed by Chadwick Boseman, who died just a few weeks ago of cancer at 43. RIP to a genuine talent.

In my misspent youth I was always a huge fan of James Brown, and soul music in general. If you enjoyed the music of James Brown and the Famous Flames, give this one a look.
