Someone asked me about my shingles.... I have absolutely NO pain at all.... ever... No itch or burning... The lesions are all dried up and are starting to disappear.. Just a few on my stomach and a few on my right hip towards the back.. I still am on a pill to eliminate the nerve pain which is working wonderfully.. I will most likely be on that medication for another 2 months to avoid nerve pain which could be very painful.. The advantage of having the vaccine is proof right here... The vaccine won't prevent you from getting shingles, but if you get it, it will be extremely mild and it won't last long... otherwise, you could be in BIG trouble with a severs case that will last for years..
Today, July 1st is our wedding anniversary...… 23 glorious years... We can't go out for supper as it is way too hot outside and they only have patio tables outside, no inside seating.. It will be about 42c as a humidex today which is too hot to eat out, besides the mosquitos will eat us up alive.. I will try to cook us a lovely meal but so far, I have NO idea what to make... I was thinking of a stir fry using B/S chicken breast which I have lots of.. I also have all the veggies I need.. No cake ….. Perhaps something for dessert.... maybe... How about a cocktail first..... In a champagne glass, I will put some apple juice and we can make a toast on that...
