Thank-you everyone for the anniversary wishes.. I showed Annmarie and she was also very thankful... and impressed at the lovely people on here... The supper I made was simply awesome and she loved the champagne idea.. We had a very special dessert... The biggest hug and kiss..... After 30 years together, ….. Hmmm....
Hope you and your lovely wife will see many, many, more anniversaries in the Future too.. Good to see the sunshine today after 2 straight days of wind and heavy rain and thunder and lightening, only one tree came down , thank goodness and was no where near our house! We are slowly getting it hacked away..
It was another scorcher today up here... Totally unbelievable with the temperature toping 36c and the humidex somewhere around the 42c mark.. We have NEVER had this kind of heat up here.. new records are set every day..
It's a good thing we have an air-conditioner in the window of the living room.. It keeps the whole downstairs very cool all day.. In the evening, it gets a bit cooler so we can sleep very well with the window open.. Actually, we have a comforter on the bed as it gets just a bit too cool.. Great for sleeping...
Talk about extreme weather in Steve's neck of the woods. -40C to 107C. Have y'all enjoyed your Fourth of July?
What a bummer Shirley. Seems Donald was not included in that as I saw on our news he and his entourage enjoying themselves at Mount Rushmore.
Craig...……….. Your right about the temperature... It is hotter than the oven when I bake... That is the humidex, not the temperature..
Steve, how is your garden looking? My tomato plants are thriving. I took some pictures of my bounty a few days ago. My son is bringing me veggies from his garden.
I bet the tomatoes taste really nice ,I call the shop bought tomatoes “plastic tomatoes “ cause that’s what they taste like chewing plastic tasteless and tough
