I am pretty sure that it is @Steve North ’s fault, Terry. Steve was just asking for me to send him up some boxes of warmth and sunshine because he is getting snow and still needs to get stuff done outside. I told him to help himself, we have plenty; but I had no idea that he was going to take this much of our warm weather and sunshine ! (Actually, we still have the sunshine, it just is not doing much good with the cold wind) Anyway, I changed the sheets, put the fluffy mattress cover on, and added the warm comforter on top , and Poodle has his warm faux Sherpa blanket at the foot of the bed, so that will help Bobby and I to keep our cold footies warm at night now.
Well, you know Steve lives up there in Santa Claus land I do believe. Anyhow, we are hitting the cold now and have frost warnings up for the rest of the weekend. But next week it is back to early autumn like weather again in the low and mid 70s. Unusual for us at this time of the year. Our leaves haven't even begun to change color yet. Even in the coldest of winter, I sleep with my one of my bedroom windows partially opened and nothing more than a sheet covering me. I hate overheating while I am trying to sleep. If the heat comes on, I awaken instantly to turn it down.
Where are those promised puppy pictures, @Chrissy Cross ? I used to have one of those vintage Fiestaware tea/coffee pots ! Looked like the one in your picture except mine was the pink one.
Hi all - not a good day so far, too long on the phone with 'customer service' wrong name - wrong claim service is minimal when you eventually get through Anyhoo - good morning to you (its afternoon here)
That is an exceptionally beautiful little Pom, @Chrissy Cross , and he just looks so intelligent, too ! I bet that you are loving him bunches already ?
Good morning all, even though no one else seems to be awake here. I do sometimes get up early. It is 4:50 right now but I've been up for a half hour or so. This is what happens when I go to bed before midnight - I wake up in a few hours, unable to sleep anymore.
