All good Steve Ron’s having his yearly check up ..he rarely go’s to the Dr ..that’s cause he always gets lots of care from me ... I’m going to look at the new Apple phone soon ..mine is about 6 years old and it looks like new however it’s playing up ..not letting me know when there’s a message ..and ringing another number when I’m on a call ...it’s got a bug of some sort ..
Kate... that's one thing we don't have is a cell phone or any of those items.. We have no use for them..
With Halloween coming this Saturday, do you have any special plans ….. We are NOT doing anything as usual.. We don't have any kids in our area and besides, with the pandemic, it isn't wise to go door to door....
I thoroughly dislike kids knocking on my door at 10 pm at night when I go to bed about 9...9.30 It’s not really that dark outside till at least 8,45 pm as we are in late spring and with day light savings as well So I will be turning off our doorbell and putting the roller shutters down just before dark I don’t understand what it’s all about anyway ...and when I did used to answer the door the kids just wanted money and I haven’t drawn any cash of of the bank since COVID
Hello Mr. Paul Smith,, me and hubs and the 2 cats are staying home, As long as we lived here (7) years now..We never had any kids for Halloween anyway, We just buy the left over Candy the day after Halloween cuz its all half priced sales,, .
Hi, @Paul Smith . Welcome to SoC and welcome to the games. We need a lot of new players. I am so tired of this virus thing. I am ready to go out and about but I'm not ready to get extremely sick and maybe die. Maybe I'll be patient a while longer.
Hang in there Shirley.. You are definitely not alone in your feelings.. We are all kind of fed up but we all must stay alive, so we will continue on living this way till it is all over which might be towards the end of next year.. One more year to go at least..... In the meantime, for all of us, ................ PLEASE STAY SAFE....
Hang in there dear friends ...The poor Victorians had it real bad with up to 800 cases a day ...with about 900 deaths in that period . ( 21 weeks ) they have just eased the restrictions from complete lockdown to being able to go out anywhere , with the only restriction being they must wear a mask .,they were in complete lockdown for 21 weeks ..with only being able to go out ( I person per household ) up to 5 km away. Nothing was open than essential services ..no pubs no fast food no entertainment venues From some of the news we are hearing about the US in particular lots are dying and lots of infections ...so @Shirley Martin and @Louise Miller please stay safe ...or jump on a plane ✈️ and come visit us I’ve got a caravan in the back yard ..,just imagine the fun us girls could have together I know your good Steve as far as the virus go’s but still be carful when you go away for medical treatment
Yes we up here still don't have a single case of the virus.. first our population is very small.. Just under 1000 people in Massey.. Then we are not living one on top of the other meaning we live with distance between houses.. We are mostly seniors that don't go out very much anyway, but when we do, we all wear a mask and keep our distance, even though we are safe and clean.. Our shops all have a sign that says … "No mask, No entry"...
Somebody on TV once said that if ……. everybody in the world would wear a mask for 30 days, the virus would die and it would be all over ……. Obviously that is totally impossible as lots of people still refuse to wear a mask.. Therefore we will just have to live with this for at least one more year till the end of 2021, and most likely well into 2022....
