I ordered this toner cartridge because the current one wasn't printing correctly. When I examined it I saw that it was separated at the drum on one side, hence the order. Well, as I was cleaning off my desk I found a tiny silver cylinder hidden under some papers. Hmmm. I took it and put it in a hole on the cartridge and it fit perfectly. Now it prints with no problem. A friend told me once to never throw away anything that's useful. With that said I must have been thinking that about that tiny cylinder or simply "It must have came from somewhere because I've never seen anything like it before."
With respect for the upcoming time for giving (Christmas), I think this small video might help some of those who cannot figure out what to order for their relatives. With the exception of the beer and probation, I believe Amazon has just about everything else.
Just ordered: -Diastatic malt powder (used for baking yeast breads) -Calcium carbonate to try my hand at making a blended water specifically for brewing coffee -Small kitchen scale that weighs to hundredths of a gram (has a 1# max. capacity) for making blended water and accurately weighing pasta ingredients
That's one of Ella's favorites, although if I bought it for her all the time, it would soon no longer be her favorite. She likes any of the Earthborn canned food varieties.
Today I ordered one of those milk frothers that heat the milk and then froth it, so you can have hot milk in your coffee or tea. Bobby bought some fresh raw cacao powder, and I am pretty sure that I would like that in my coffee, and I think that I can add it to the frother along with the milk . If not, I can stir it into the coffee, and then add the frothed milk. They are much more expensive than I would usually spend; but I found one of the Amazon returns that was less than half the price of the newer model; so I ordered it. I will report back once it comes and I have tried it out.
That's pretty neat. Sounds like you got a good deal. I'm curious to hear how you like it. Some time ago my brother purchased a latte/espresso machine. It had the hot milk frother feature. My niece got pretty good at making drinks. I've had my eye on a good Bunn drip coffee maker, but can't get myself to part with the bucks. I've already spent enough on kitchen gadgets this year, but could really use some restaurant-quality coffee.
I miss those Service Merchandise stores also. I still have and use a calculator I bought at one in Lubbock in about 1990. The last thing I bought on line is a pair of Lee jeans.
Just ordered 3 sizes of vacuum bags for my Food Saver. I use them for freezing and for sous vide cooking. Last night's leftovers took me down to my reorder point. Also ordered a set of weights to calibrate my kitchen scales. It's the first thing I've bought from Amazon that I paid shipping for. Comes directly from the seller. I waded through so many of them trying to find one that was not widely criticized for being inaccurate, I wasn't gonna mess with trying to see if any of the others were Amazon-direct.
Last week, bought printer ink (2) and printable business cards. Have all three now. Whatever we can do, in order to stay out of stores, will do. No Black Friday shopping, in stores, for us this year.
