Every morning with breakfast I am given a printed copy of my three meal choices for the next day. I print my name and apartment number at the top and the form is picked up when they bring my lunch. I print how I like my eggs--I love poached & omelettes. If I want oat meal or cereal or fresh fruit bowel I print that in. This is a far cry from the food service prior to COVID 19 but all things considered, I'm fortunate.
I'm trying to pick out what to have from takeout tonight.....Never do anything a day ahead if I'm not cooking it.
Since I am the chief cook and bottle washer around here, the "choices" for dinner are: - take it - leave it
It will be Filet Mignon with a Cabernet Reduction/Baked Potato/Asparagus Strawberry Rhuhbarb Pie for desert. Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc wine
Delivered of course because dinning room is still closed. That colorful broccoli was delicious as was the Sirloin Steak.
