Hello Everyone! It's a New Year and I'm still thanking God for each new day. My hair is finally all silver...no more hair color for me. This is actually a good thing since I always did my coloring myself and I'm just not up to that anymore. I'm doing well. My Nurse still comes every two weeks and all my vitals are good. Still can do things for myself... though maybe at a slower pace. On Feb. 25th I'll be 70 years old and my family is throwing me a party to celebrate. I'm looking forward to it very much. My grandkids are all getting so big as you can see in the picture. I'm happy and at peace with my life...God is good and I could not ask for more.

Hi Everyone! I'm happy to say that I was able to have my 70th Birthday like iI wanted it for the most part. Although not everyone could be there...it was wonderful just the same. Three of my sister's came in from Florida and they stopped by with one of my brothers and his wife to drop my favorite pizza and some birthday gifts off to me. In the excitement we forgot to take pictures. They did send me one though after they stopped at my oldest sister on their way back to Florida. Then two of my daughters came another day with some of the grandchildren and a birthday cake and another of my favorite pizzas. And then my oldest daughter came the next day with another cake and pizza. I really racked up for my 70th Birthday! I got 5 new pairs of pajamas, spending money, and most important a good part of my family with me.
As for my breast cancer. It's been a little over two years since my diagnosis and except for gaining weight since I basically eat whatever I want to eat...I really can't say there's much different. Still no pain, about the same energy level which I've gotten used to. Still doing everything for myself...I do use the shower chair they brought me and I actually love it. But what I love most of all is having my Honey home full time with me. We have such meaningful times together. Now that Spring is on it's way I ordered this chair with some of my birthday money so I can sit more comfortable on the porch with my Honey while we watch Spring come in with all it's beauty.
