They must offer choices for religious folks,ie: Kosher, Halal, vegetarian etc.
I mean even the Qanon Shaman is getting personalized meals in jail!

I wonder if any specialty offerings might be dependent on who their then-current population is.

There may be a question of "Special Dietary Needs" on the application for residency.

The menu looks fine except the parsnip soup is a bit on the overkill side. Suggest to the chef to add some curry into a Bechmel sauce then a bit of chicken stock and stir the parsnips in for a little change of pace.

I guess that as far as menus go, it is okay, but it seems to me like there are not many options, and you just get whatever they want to cook for you. I would seriously hate that because I want to decide myself what I am going to eat for each meal.
What if I feel like a hot bowl of oatmeal and an apple, and the breakfast is for bacon and an egg omelette ; you are stuck with the bacon and eggs.

I realize that they can’t be like a cafe, where you can make orders for whatever you want, but even the hospital (when I was in there for the heart procedures) had options that I could choose from, as well as specialty options, like vegan foods, or a low-salt menu .

Breakfasts are wide open. You can just ask for what you want.

Lucky for you Lon, I don't live closer. I would be joining you for wine and dessert.

I remember having that many years ago and like someone said it was my favorite. I probably will never have it again because there is no rhubarb down here.

I'm sure I had rhubarb as a child but it has never been part of my conscience diet
as an adult. Have I been missing out on something good?

Love rhubarb pie, or cobbler. Puts an edge on your teeth. But you can omit the strawberries for me.
