Ok, Lon, what is in New Zealand or Australia that I'd like? Kangaroos? LOL

Now, where I'd like to visit: Paris, England and Venice. My wife has been to Paris and England and we have numerous pictures of her there. How did I get interested in Venice? We have the movie, The Tourist.

Well, Lon, if we liked beaches, we would've stay living in Jacksonville, FL.. We missed the Rocky Mountains very much and are glad to be back here. For the 10 1/2 years living in Jacksonville, we only went to Jacksonville Beach three or four times.

I lived in Tampa and know Jacksonville. Beaches vary quite a bit and the coral beaches of Australia are magnificent.

I visited both countries...a month in Australia and a week in N, Zealand. Beautiful people and great scenery...specially in NZ.
Their curiosity about my other country was great. They go out of their wat to make you feel at home.

Not me, but my brother and his wife have been to both; in fact they've been everywhere but Antarctica.:p

What I want to know is why there are so many dangerous species of fauna in Australia, yet so few in NZ?

The Austrailian mainland is over 2,000 miles from Australia and is 29 times larger.
