    -Homemade pizzas
    --White cheese only (Fontina with garlic-flavored olive oil)
    --Pepperoni & onion with 3 cheeses and a cooked sauce
    -Fudgesicle

    I tried a few different things this time:

    -I tried a different crust recipe, which turned out fine but it only used 2 cups of flour versus the 4 cup recipe I usually make. (I did not pay attention.) So I grated way more [expensive] cheese than I could use on these smaller crusts.

    -I rolled out the dough on parchment paper and cooked it on the parchment paper most of the way through. This method did not make rolling out an even pizza crust any easier...it was still an amoeba (my shape of choice.) And when I tried to use the rolling pin instead of manually shaping the dough, it just pushed the crust and parchment paper all over the countertop due to lack of friction. I DID like way using parchment paper cooked the crust. I normally put the crust on a pan and then cook it halfway through before sliding the pizza directly onto the stone to finish. Using parchment paper transferred the heat directly and immediately, and gave me a much browner, crispier crust. I'll use this technique again to cook the pizza...it's a keeper.

    -I cooked a sauce rather than use my regular no-cook recipe. It's a nice change but not markedly better. I may seek out a different cooked recipe.

    -I used a combination of mozzarella/provolone/sharp cheddar on the pepperoni pizza. All were fresh cheeses that I sliced or grated (as I did the Fontina.) This is gonna be a good combination once I research ratios further. *burp* I think the sharp cheddar needs to be more dominant. Some pizzas I've seen look more orange than they do white.

    Stopped at the BBQ joint on our way home from the medical center. I got a combo plate with sausage, brisket, potato salad, baked beans, and dill pickles. I ate about half of it and put the rest in the fridge.

    Leftovers again, baked ziti and meatballs [ yes I said meat & I know that it was but they were Turkey based meatballs which I much rather prefer so,there! ]

    I had leftover homemade pizza last night. The cooked sauce and the cheese combo I tried tasted pretty good after sitting for 2 days.

    It would tough to build a business model around "48 Hours Or It's Free." but I'm on the right trail for future homemade tweaks.

    Been working on firewood storage and other yard stuff, so I decided to go do Mexican rather than cook dinner. There's a newish Mexican restaurant that opened near the Walmart/Lowes center that's been doing very well. It is a need that they've filled nicely, and I can drive 8 miles rather than 20 (to the one in Charlottesville) to get my burrito fix.
