Not at this stage of my life. What if it rains 3 days in a row like it just did here. Stuck inside in 800 sq ft would drive me nuts. I'd be painting the walls or moving furniture every day unnecessarily, just to have something to do. Later maybe, when I can't move furniture.
I’ve lived in an RV, a couple of trailers, several motel rooms, a refurbished school bus, a basement apartment, a tent and owned a 4 BR 21/2 bath home with a pool (and rarely stayed there) so the abode where I live doesn’t bother me as much as how I live.
I agree with you, Faye. I lived in apartments for perhaps 2 years of my life, when my wife and I purchased that small home I was in for so long. Less than 3 months later we split up. I kept the home, even though I was making $5/hour. Apartment life is about as close to having roommates as you can get, except you don't get to decide who moves in and you can't kick any of them out.
I could. In fact, I love those little 'tiny houses,' that you keep seeing on the Net. (like below, 574 sq.ft)
I probably, but note the word "probably", could. During the 22 years I was divorced/single, I had very little of anything, unlike now. But, with as much stuff as we have now, like numerous wall pictures, we have to rent a 2-bedroom. We was buying, when we lived in Colorado before, a 2-story, 3-bedroom, den, 1 1/2 bath, living room, family room, kitchen, 3-car garage on a 1/4 acre lot. Way to much space for us, but, at the time, my wife had a lot of stuff. Since having that house, we have downsized a whole lot, but still require a 2-bedroom.
Our home has about 600 square feet...not including the porch and we have lived many happy years in it.
