I'm sorry to inform you guys but the raging water from the storm washed away all traces of the ship we discovered. There is no telling where the pieces wound up. We will never know if it belonged to the Colonists. Sheriff Watts took the newest skeleton back with him. Maybe he can find out who it was and what happened to him or her. Good job with the firewood for Sister Philomena. So let's get started helping the disaster victims. I wonder if they like alligator burgers?
Senior Sister Philomena just got a call saying a Nurse may join us on the boat to Roanoke Island. Not sure of the details just yet but sister Bridget may stay here to supervise the clean up if that's the case.
I found a big boat that we can use to rescue people who are flooded. They will be glad to see us. As soon as we get a load, we will take them to safety and come back for more.
The last I saw of the lot of you was at the cabin. Sorry I have been busy with this storm as well. Oh by the way remember how you left me trying to sleep in the cabin.... With a resounding crash the door to the cabin was thrown open followed by Sister Bridget yelling “Praise the Lord!”. Firmly gripped in her hand was a six-foot snake which with a quick snap of the wrist she launched toward the water. The two men stopped working and stared at Sister Bridget in disbelief. Sister Bridget glared at the two men with a straight face and calmly said “I don’t like snakes.” She quickly walked back into the cabin and returned to the cot she had found the snake occupying. It took me awhile to catch up to you but I am here to help anyway I can.
"I told you Sister Brigdet was tough " said Terence to Craig quietly. "She's a nurse too. Knows how to give, and take life!" With the fallen tree cleared we headed down the creek back to the river Roanoke, with the small boat in tow, then downstream past Jamesville and then on to Senior Sister Philomena's Saint Aquinas' Orphage. Downstream from Jamesville. The wind was only light now but cruising through a landscape of devastation of flattened bushes and trees, dead, cattle, sheep, wildlife, pets,...was heart breaking. "No time to stop!" Flashing lights could be seen in the distance, and faint blares of sirens.... Finally, we tied up very tired at Senior Sister Philomena's whete the the on and off cargoes were done, mainly by the many older children. We staggered to the damaged orphan's mansion. Food, gear, tents, water, medicines and associated equipment. Sister Bridget took charge of that. Sister Kathryn helped with quiet words to extremely diligent and respectful children. They had a strange willingness about them. Terence insisted on his many choices of tools, including the big chainsaw, generator, ropes, pullies, water filtering kits and lots of extra fuel....and numerous other bits and pieces, even a light aluminium ladder. Why? Senior Sister Philomena said "Just been on the phone to Sheriff Watts. He says that that nurse mentioned before can't make it, emergency elsewhere, so Sister Bidget will have go to Roanoke with her Nursing training. Sister Sister Bridget!" $200/day! Well done! Go! "Sister Kathlyn and I will cope ok here. She's young and very tech savvy. She's doing upadates n installing some good apps on the boat's Laptop. Sister Kathlyn and I have also created numerous Deputy Assistants with the older children at $5+/day, (paid by the authority of God proxied by me Sister Senior Sister Philomea of Saint Aquinas' Orphanage! Sure I made it all up, who'd sue? God is my judge!" "Here's 6 copies for each of you all presigned by me, 20 for you Bidget, but you'll all be the payee! Sister Kathlyn has got 10 children, with 2 earning $10/day." 150 - 8x5 -2×10 = $90/day. We'll spend our excess on the needy.....keep those sacks of rice dry..... God bless you all. Head off at next Sunrise so rest up. Croc tail stew tonight! " "Find Deputy Crow please and keep your gunpowder dry. Make sure you carry the sacred artifact Dty Crow gave you Shirley, you never know, and all wear those silver crosses I gave you. God takes many forms..." Bridget knows that from her times in Africa." "Shirley, your dream vision of Noah's ark is comforting. It bodes well. God and the Spirits are with us. We have a mission!
I guess that means traveling and medicine to move. I thought I had enough of that in Africa moving from village to village only to find more sick and injured from all the unrest and starvation. Grumbling, "I thought I left Hannah Dalton behind." Sister Bridget has the mission this time not Hannah. Killing that blood thirsty slave runner was the best thing I ever did but it also put a price on my head. Now I serve God and save lives.
Hannah Dalton aka Sister Bridget, welcome to our story. I hope you won't find any blood thirsty slave runners in our story. I assume you are incognito as Sister Bridget because of the price on your head? The survivors of the storm are need of water and food. Do we have that loaded on Ark2? Once we have them fed, we can begin helping remove the rubble. I'm not sure why Terence brought the ladder but I'm sure we will find out.
Are we pleased to see you Sister. What you just did does not surprise me in the least as I told these two.. that you leave the demure lady behind in America when you decide to give yourself to Jesus in some godforsaken African colony.....
Craig," I praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. " sometimes it takes more restraint to walk away when walking the right path. Medical supplies are now my newest weapon . Now pick up that crate and help me out.
