Good Morning, Y'all. It's another bright, sunshiny day here. It's still chilly, in the 50s, and although I've been awake for hours, I was trying to get more sleep. I can hear the cardinals outside beckoning, reminding me that they haven't been fed yet. Brrr, I've got hot tea and have already made my To Do List for about the next month, changes I want/need to make, which should lead in a positive direction. Nice pics, everyone who's posted them, hope everyone has a great day.
Good late morning friends! @Ike Willis please keep that promise about eating before taking your pills!! I was up at 4:30 when GS went off to work, then again at 7:00 to take doggie out, back to sleep until 10:00 am! Nice day here, but I feel more achey today. I wanted to waste some money at Whole Foods today on some fancy cheese and their olive bar, but maybe just a shower, laundry and some movies on TV. Hulu has added the Criterion Collection of famous classic mostly foreign films. I saved a bunch to my queue. I had never seen a Bridgette Bardot movie before last night. She was so beautiful. I also watched some of "Amarcord" between sleep and wake this morning, but I had seen it before. Good day, all.
Good morning everyone! @Ruby Begonia, I love foreign films and have watched many on Netflix and Terry has put some in my drop box. Also love independent films. @Terry Page , not criticizing you but Lisa is all dressed up and looks gorgeous and you are wearing a plaid shirt?? At least wear a plain blue shirt if you're not into suits and I know you're not. Also hope everyone that's not feeling great, feels better. I'm kind of blah today.
Are you criticising my dress sense Chrissy ...the plaid shirt is fur lined for the Russian winter, I don't have a plain shirt here anyway lol Actually I was better dressed than a lot of men there, and as you say suits are an anathema to me. @Chrissy Page
Good morning to you all, it's 7:30 am on a gloomy looking Monday, Lisa is working so no plans really, have a good day, and eat with your pills Ike, yesterday sounded scary. @Ike Willis
Good Morning everyone.... It's like a winter wonderland here...everywhere covered with ice at 8am...Last day off for me of my long weekend, but I can already see the sky becoming very blue, so hopefully the ice will all melt and it will be a lovely day, and I can go out.... I had a similar day to your yesterday @Chrissy Page so let's hope we both feel a little better today....just think, things could be worse, you could be here in the ice...LOL
Good Morning, Y'all, Happy Leap Day. I love extra time, and today feels like a gift. It's still dark out. I've been awake for a few hours already. I enjoy being awake while it's nice and quiet and everyone's asleep (neighbors have been loud lately, so nice to catch a break.) No coffee or food for any of us yet. I'm actually going to go back to bed and read for a bit, but wanted to come check on things here before doing so. If you're looking to do any shopping, check around for Leap Day Deals before doing so, you might just save some money and get some deals. Hope everyone has a nice start to the new week.
Good morning! A little cooler today, 68 but I see 80 degrees the next couple of days. Too hot when I still have my Winter microfiber sheets on my bed. Hope we have a better day today @Holly Saunders and wish everyone else a great day too.
Today is a Leap Year day. It's my granddaughter's wedding anniversary. I always wondered who's idea it was to get married on such a day. Her poor hubby so far can't win, if he tries for 2/28, it's too early, but 3/1 is too late. I sure hope he remembers today is finally the right day. It's been four years, and my baby granddaughter is now 32.
No @Bonnie Thomas , it wasn't Galveston. They were in Florida. I went long enough to do the photography for their wedding, and then I went straight home. No sun for me. It was the fourth wedding I shot with my Nikon 50, which was a gift from my hubby. I really love the camera. It has three different lens for close up and distances. I convinced her that a beach wedding would be wonderful and unique, and they saved enough money that they could afford a really nice Honeymoon for a week with six members of their wedding party. The gown and suit were what my husband and I wore when we renewed our vows in 1990.
Good Morning on a cold -5c (23f) morning at 8:30 am, we were going to the Frida art exhibition this morning, but we didn't sleep too well last night, so will go tomorrow. Instead we will go for a walk in the very fresh air. Have a good Tuesday everyone.
Good Morning all... Well I didn't go to bed until 12 midnight, and I reckon I must have been overtired because I'll be beggared if I could get to sleep. it was 2am the last time I looked at the clock so I got the grand total of about 3 hours sleep in the end... ..it's raining hard this morning, just to add to the misery...LOL>.if you don't see me online tonight, just presume I've dropped off to sleep at work Have a great day folks...and @Ike Willis you take care of yourself ya hear?
