It will be hard for you, Karen, if only Trump was less of a loud mouth and not say some of the things he does it would make it easier for his followers to at least defend him on forums and such, lol.

Karen…check out Rubio. He's a little more disciplined and doesn't lie. I like him. Trump is going to win the nomination by a large margin because his followers don't care that he's a loud politically-incorrect rebel…that's actually what they want, anyone who is focused on "a political revolution". Kick, spit, whatever…just get it done.

I actually don't like his loud mouth Lara, and would like a more toned down Trump. The reality though is going to be

    Trump vs Hillary.

Yes, it is... I think at this point, I'd feel that a vote for anyone else would be wasted as a bottom line. And since it's Trump v. Hillary and Hillary scares the beheckles out of me (ooops, can I say there here... it's a Mari-created word, so I guess so) the choice became easy.

Nobody likes his loud mouth Chrissy. But our country is so damaged that nobody, who wants a major change in this country, cares about a loud mouth as much as someone who is driven and passionate enough to fix the problems. Plus, the younger generation doesn't emphasize a taboo on the same words and behavior as we, of this generation, do….and they are voting in this election too.

I think that Trump needs to check out anyone very carefully for Vice President. As the owners of this country would like very much to have a person in their pocket who is Vice President. So after they kill Trump they are back in business. If the Vice President is not in their pockets it will not help to kill Trump.

As amazing as Super Tuesday was, I noticed one thing in particular that could have a definite bearing on the upcoming GOP debates and the next run of primaries.
After all the polls were closed (with the exception of Alaska) Hillary, Trump and Cruz each had a time in which they gave a televised speech. Hillary's speech was anti-Trump and the Cruz speech was anti-Trump but when Trump spoke he seemed almost eloquent and gentlemanly to the point of congratulating Cruz on his win in Texas.
Trump looked good, sounded good and believe it or not did not give but about a 3 minute speech and then turned things over to the press for a sort of "town hall" meeting. For the 1st time I might have been looking at a real president by the way he presented himself.

Perhaps, Chris Christie might be a great influence after all. He introduced Trump and then stood behind him listening and watching every move and word that Trump made. Perhaps, we are seeing that Trump can indeed take direction from those who know the political field.

Note: Rubio was also given some time by every major channel on TV. Everything was anti-Trump to the point that he even lied (again) about Trump accepting an endorsement from David Duke. Trump has disavowed the allegations several times since the bogus news came out in the media and even did it again last night a couple of hours before Rubio spoke and reiterated the charges. As a secondary note, David Duke has even come out and said that he NEVER endorsed Trump and that the media was also lying.
Weird thing about the information that Rubio is getting because in a speech he made a few days ago he declared that when he is made president he would insure that our American oil producers would be able to export their product. The OMNIBUS bill that he endorsed has already been signed by the president and the oil transaction is in the bill, which to me is proof that his truancy from the senate floor is significant enough that Rubio has no clue what has and is going on in the law making body of our government.

Plus, there is the fact that David Duke hasn't been a member of the Klan in forty years. Hillary described former Senator Robert Byrd as her mentor, yet he was a leader in the Klan and was using the N-word, even from the Senate bench, up until even the last years of his life, yet the media has never brought this up to her or mentioned it in print.

They are trying another stunt to stop Trump. In the last few days some of the Republican politicians’ are saying Trump doesn’t live up to the STANDARDS of the Republican Party. It sounds like it is not an important word. There is ways of disqualifying a candidate one is health second is legal conviction and lastly he/she doesn’t live up to the standards of the party.
As most of us know there is no difference in these two parties so some Republican would rather have Clinton than let Trump win. They are afraid of the truth coming out.

A few moments ago, I had to bring in the flag. The wind was blowing so hard I feared that the pole would be torn out of it's bracket and I would find my flag on the ground. While I was gathering it and lightly shaking it out to dry, the Stars and Stripes again reminded me of a nation United, Under God, and Indivisible. Indivisible.........
As a boomer I do not remember the nation being so divided as it has been for the last few years. Our government, for the people and by the people is no longer available to the people. Something has to happen and I think that something just might be happening.

The ancient teaching that one should not put new wine into old flasks has never been better defined than it is by looking at our government. We keep electing good people to fill hard jobs but when they take their seats they become spoiled by the "old wine in the old flask" in that they are corrupted by the neo-establishment status quo.
In order for things to become new and United again the flask must be changed so the new wine can remain fresh and good. The directions for the use of the flask is our very constitution which the political establishment wants to change also.

Now, no matter who we vote for in the general election, one cannot in any way deny that the Trump revolution has started a huge shakeup in our corrupted and split beyond repair government. Politicians are falling all over themselves to stop the shakeup but the people of the United States are showing the discontent by which we are presently living by endorsing a type of change that has not been seen in decades.
Whether it is Trump, Cruz, Rubio or whoever it is the people eventually put into office note that our government will not be the same as it is now because Trump has made it abundantly clear that we, the people still do have something to say and we, the people have the ability to become unified in our quest for the true American Dream.
Complacency will hopefully be gone and those who work will be congratulated instead of being considered the feed bag for a new society bent on total dependence on a body of government that isn't even supposed to exist.

Yes, I do know that I am prejudiced when it comes to @Bobby Cole and his posts; but I just have to say that this was an amazingly wonderful and awesomely well-worded assessment of where our nation stands today !
    (Waves the flag and cheers)

Term limits for all federal positions, Including the supreme court would be very helpful in restoring our government.

According to an article I just read, I think it was in Politico, the Democrats are having their own shakeup, with one-third of their membership swearing that they will never vote for Hillary.

So does Obama but he is still walking around seemingly unscathed.

It's probably been said in this thread already, and this isn't to you directly Chrissy, but to anyone reading. I just didn't want to make another reply/separate reply to Ken's thread. Anyway, I was going to say that the folks behind Trump are probably tired of the "run of the mill" politicians. Trump seems more like the old timey politicians that shot from the hip, didn't use written speeches etc. I think someone said that, but I agree with them. I've been ready for some real change for a long time, and I've learned that I can't always trust someone just because they seem personable "to me". If that were the case, I may have trusted Obama, but I never did.

My biggest problem is I still think movies had the best presidents, and why can't we have one of those guys, LOL!!
