Good morning everyone and hugs to Chrissy and Karen, I hope you find some comfort during this painful time. It's warmer today so we will go on our usual No.16 tram ride to a park and lunch.

Just starting to get light here, it's been raining all night but it's stopped now but there's still very strong winds and it's cold...it's been a long winter, I can't wait for it to start warming up,..in the meantime I still have to put on so many layers before I go out.... roll on Spring...... . Only the increasing day length is suggestive of spring. The temperatures are still in single figures and the wind, though thankfully not strong, is chilly. Not much to see on this morning's walk other than a few woodpigeons. Common birds, but with a certain plump elegance.
Good morning! A tad cooler today. I feel like crap, Pickles woke me up early again. My eyes hurt from crying yesterday....not going to be a good day, hopefully it changes. Have a great day everyone.

@Chrissy Page , I know you have regularly scheduled trips to see your son and other family members in the Illinois. Are you close to one so you can spend some time with your mother? Maybe it would help you to start writing about the things you can remember about your mother when you were small. It does help to remember the love she taught you. It might help you feel closer to her at this time while you can't be near her. Then later maybe you could make small memories books for your children and grandchildren for them to keep throughout their growing histories. I sorry there is nothing we can do to help you right now. I know we all would if it were in our power. (((Hugs)))
My mom is in New Jersey, so the closest is my son in Illinois, Ina. I'm trying to get to New Jersey by the end of April and then on my way back stop at sons for awhile. It's just hard to stay away too long when you have a house And nobody to look after it while you are gone. I should write down things about my mom while I still remember them. I'm the oldest. After my mom dies, I'm next in line barring any accidents or illnesses. I was also the only smoker among my siblings. Kind of a sobering thought. Okay, I'll put on my happy face now...hate bringing people down. I appreciate all the kindness and caring though from all of you. It helps.

It's a dismal but nice day here. The cardinals have been very vocal since before the sun came up, first out front, and now out back. It's a rough one for me, so I'm going to try to get some more rest. Hope everyone has a nice (or at least as nice as can be expected) day.

Good morning friends, it's 8:30 am here on Friday with another weekend ahead, it seems like a short week to me. I hope @Chrissy Page had a better nights sleep, and hope @Ike Willis shows up today and is OK, it's always a worry when a member stops posting with no apparent reason. Have a good worry free day.
G'morning Terry, and everyone.. It's 7.30am...it's my day off today but no rest for the wicked after a hard day yesterday.....I have to go and get my bi-monthly bloods checked today at the hospital... It's already gloriously sunny so I hope the sun stays out and maybe I'll go take a walk around our little market town and take some pictures to show you all... I'm also concerned about our friend @Ike Willis ...I hope after his scare with the medication the other day that he's not sick...I miss his morning posts, they are the highlight of my day bless him... Have a fab day everyone...hope all your troubles will be little ones..
