This cold weather has really affected my back for some reason, more so this year than usual. I am making the pineapple and ginger anti-inflammatory smoothie, with about 2 grams of vitamin C added, and going to have that every day and see if it helps.
I do not like to take any kind of medication , even the OTC kind, so as long as I can help it with anti-inflammatory food or drinks, then I will definitely do that first.
I just ordered two more pineapples for more smoothies.

I just got part of my Humana OTC order, and this time I ordered an electric shoulder and neck heating pad. It works similar to how a regular heating pad works, but it is made to go around your neck and shoulders .
I do not have any arthritis bothering me, but I think that this would be very helpful if a person did, or if you had aches from sleeping wrong on your neck.
Right now, I am cold, and I have it around my neck (along with my little knitted scarf on my head) to keep my neck and shoulders warm when I am sitting here at my desk, and it is really nice !

It looks about like this one that I found on Amazon, to show everyone a picture of how this works. If your back and shoulders get cold in the winter, or you just have aches and stiffness, I think that one of these would be a great investment. It even has a really long cord so that it is easy to maneuver around with it on.
