My favorite from early childhood: "People are People!" Meaning race, ethnicity, gender, age, etc., are all irrelevant- all that actually matters is how individuals live their lives and how they treat others.

I also like: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Meaning if there's not a good reason for change, leave it alone.
