MY favorite is my uncles saying of "Some people are just not worth the effort" I totally agree with that.
You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. unknown. [When I say unknown it just means its forgotten by me who said it.]
Abraham Lincoln. My favorite from early childhood: "People are People!" Meaning race, ethnicity, gender, age, etc., are all irrelevant- all that actually matters is how individuals live their lives and how they treat others. I also like: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Meaning if there's not a good reason for change, leave it alone.
I just put this one up on another thread aand thought it would be one of my fav's to put up here too, " you can ignore reality but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality".Ayn Rand 'I think?
Here's one of my uncle used to say, he was joking I think? " look in the mirror and you'll get fed up"
I GOOFED FIRST I WOULD SAY "I'M HUNGRY" THEN MY UNCLE WOULD SAY "look in the mirror and you'll get fed up"
Experience is the hardest teacher a person can have: You get the test first and the lesson comes afterward. (unknown)
"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." -Abraham Lincoln
