What's For Supper?

Takeout from the local mexican restaurant; fajitas and fixins. No cooking today.

 

I had Campbell's Chicken noodle soup and crackers. It was pretty good and should have been since it cost as much as a cheap steak just a couple years ago.

 

Today it's homemade hamburgers, baked beans, and fries. I even made the buns!

 

Last night roast and other leftovers for him. Not sure what i will munch on

 

hmm hmm, that looks good !

 

I had Shrimp Gumbo, and I worked hard standing over that microwave for 5 minutes. The kittens won't stop bothering me now, my fingers smell like shrimp. I pinched a few tiny morsels for them and they just love shrimp.

 

Leftover potstickers and ham.

 

Shrimp scampi, salad, breadsticks. Tiramisu. (Olive Garden gift card to the rescue!)

 

Homemade brownies topped with peanut butter, applesauce, and cottage cheese.

 

All the major food groups!!

 

Yes, a balanced diet is paramount for me.

 

Fried catfish, yellow onions,orange,red peppers,with small red potatoes,asparagus tips, smothered in spices and some olive oil roasted in oven. Garlic toast - Puuurfect !

 

We've been doing yard work all day so dinner will be tuna salad from the deli on homemade white bread; chips and pickles on the side.
