I pressured cooked a batch of short ribs a while ago with mushrooms in a red wine sauce, then portioned it out and froze it. I like cooking with alcohol. I've got a recipe here somewhere for chicken thighs roasted with mango & papaya in a rum sauce, and have taken to deglazing my sautéed fish pans with vermouth rather than white wine to make a sauce...it's a nice change.

Chicken and noodles. I have to go downstairs in an hour or so and make it. Being slow, it takes me about 30 minutes if the chicken is frozen (which it is).

I am mulling over rabbit livers. I think I will make pate and eat it with a raised pinky.

I got some beautiful red leaf lettuce from the farmers market. A salad with cherry tomatoes will be happening for sure. That's as far as I am with my plan right now. :p And maybe a glass of wine.

    Maybe
    wine???? ;)

You reminded me that I have a recipe for a radish & cilantro relish that makes a great greens topper. I've not made it in a while, and it's a refreshing summer dish. I just posted the recipe here.
