@Thomas Stillhere reminded me in a rant he posted when he referred to horses and electric cars.
The “unifying” illegitimate in the Oval Office is trying to force us into the age of electric cars without realizing that the price tag for buying one is considerably higher than the average American can afford to buy which further separates the “haves” from the “have nots”.
As it presently stands, some cannot even afford to gas up the rigs they have much less go out and buy something that even a $15 minimum wage can’t cover.


Now, as an aside, I do have to grumble a little about owning a horse for travel because first, even if a person has their own stable, it still costs a LOT to maintain a horse. Hay, Grain and Vets aren’t cheap even if one can get the hay and grain part. The way that American farms are going and the inability to ship their products inexpensively makes it doubly hard to feed and maintain an equestrian form of mobility.
Basically, what I’m saying is that Biden’s policies have even made horse drawn carriages an improbability.

What I definitely CAN see for our future is millions of people riding around helter skelter on MoPeds like some scene on a normal day in Bangkok.
Folks with electric cars trying to get through streets packed with walkers and people riding MoPeds.

There is a thought though. My wife was talking about a goat a couple of years ago so……..

 

I follow Aussie news a bit, this is one of the thinking of Biden.

I often watch Sky News whenever I can just to get a feel of what other countries think about this already failed administration.
The truth is, I do feel somewhat embarrassed even though I had no part in putting Biden in office.
That all said, I do take things personally and this is still my country and no matter who or what created this country wide failure makes me as a loving citizen look like a failure also.

I was so fascinated by the news anchorwoman's eyebrows that I could barely concentrate on Biden's gaffes.

 

Goats are pretty cool but the flies are terrible. A goat will eat a tumble weed, now that is what I call hardcore hungry. ha

Dunno Ed. When they opened up the quarantine camps I kinda shied away from even thinking about going there. Between that and hearing about people getting killed with sticks and knives instead of a bullet gives me room for pause.

Biden’s handlers have all but ostracized the U.S. from the free world with their trade deals. They’ve damaged the trade agreements with the U.K., Saudi Arabia, Japan and other free countries whilst embracing China, Venezuela, Iran and until recently, Russia.
To me, even the EU is somewhat of a socialistic type of an affair that marches to the voice of an unelected individual so it isn’t any wonder that Biden wants to do business with those countries rather than the very free UK.

The bottom line is that it’s pretty obvious that Biden’s and Pelosi’s handlers want the U.S. to become a totalitarian socialist country so it’s not surprising that their choices of trade deals favors “other than free” countries.
There is no doubt that if they do backtrack and try to make nice again with the UK it would be a step foreword toward a little thing called “Trust”.

 

I tried to find some info about trade agreements that you mention, but was unable to find. Help please?

I trust you already know about this administration’s approval of Chevron’s negotiations for Venezuelan oil and I’m doubly sure that you already know that Biden lifted the tariffs on Chinese imports. To think about it, I would be remiss if I thought you didn’t know that Biden negated the Trump era sanctions placed on Iran, rejoined the climate change accord (an EU majority) and until recently was helping Russia’s war efforts against Ukraine by buying oil from Russia.
Note: Also, until recently, Biden rubbed elbows with the deposed Russian backed leader of Ukraine which stands only as Biden’s personal past alliances.

Now, the knowledge that we keep sending millions to the Guatemalan leadership, a leadership that not only heads the state but the whole of the government is already old news.
Of course, just to be a bit picky, our present trade agreements with Vietnam, a communist country, amounts into the billions of dollars is also old news.
As an addendum, an American oil company being given the nod to negotiate for Syrian oil imports also shows that this Administration’s stance against that government’s use of chemical weapons is only a facade.

We've agreed on some things, Bobby, and we do here on SOME. If I start with Ukraine, we go back to the time Hillary was part of the Obama administration. During this time her assistant for eastern Euraphean Affairs bragged to a room full of petroleum execs about spending 5 billion to “Bring Ukraine Over to Our Side.” PolitiFact | The United States spent $5 billion on Ukraine anti-government riots . When I first read this, I had to think about the “Cuban Missile Crisis” back in the 1960s. What did we expect the Russians to think-do? I also remind that Pres. Bush the elder promised that with the connection of the two Germanies, NATO would not be moved eastward. During the debates last year, not bring Ukraine into NATO was “Not on the Table.”

About Venezuelan oil: We helped topple the government when it tried to use some of the oil export money for it's citizens, rather than for the profit of foreign companies. We've been doing that for decades in Central America, so yes we do send money there to support our corrupt governments. (I'm curious to see how the Ven invitation to Russia to set up a base works out.). BTW I am aware of VP Biden's part of the fxxxup in Ukraine.

I might add another thing about Central America, one I experienced myself. During my university prof years, LSU 1980s. I seemed to be one of the nice guys students like to talk to walking down the isle before or after class. I'd talked to this guy, from Guatemala, a few times. This time he brought up something about what was happening at home. He said something about something the US should change in their gov. I said something like 'Isn't that something the Guata government should do? He got a picture out of his pocket with three men. “This is my father, this the army general (only one?), and this is the local(?) CIA agent.” (My word processor's spell-grammar check quit working. Excuse. How the hell do I fix that?)
