I had a salad, leftover crock pot sloppy joes, and fries. The sloppy joe recipe was disappointing, but I portioned out the rest of it and froze it for future meals. That's what I get for trying something that only had 12 reviews (11 of them were probably relatives of the author.)
I had a good day physically so spent the morning cooking. He can just pick something. i finished except for some corn bread. Meatloaf, potato salad , pinto beans, pasta dish. That should last 2 or three days
I threw a half split chicken breast straight from the deep freeze onto the grill. Served with garden tomatoes, onions, peppers and fries.
Usually, we just have whatever we feel like eating and nothing special, sometimes just a sandwich does the trick for Bobby and I . Tonight, however, my son and daughter-in-law are coming to visit and have dinner with us; so Bobby is going to BBQ the meat and I made potato salad, deviled eggs, fresh sliced pineapple and tomatoes, and vegetarian baked beans from a can. They live in north Idaho, so I do not get to see them very often, only when Robin takes me out west to visit, and it has been about a year since I saw them last. We are all looking forward to the meal together and the visit tonight !
