I never knew anyone hated JFK:( At least where I was sitting, a lot of people hated, or at least were very worried about obama getting elected, now I know there are people that can't stand him. I haven't heard or seen anyone try to knock him off though.

Just seems like there is some real "control freaks" and "manipulators" that do NOT want (like the video ken put in said) a man that is his "own" man, and can't be bought. I'm going to start praying for him, a lot, and his family.

This was thought-provoking, thanks Karen. I was taught growing up that the President of our United States was the most respected man, that we were like in awe if he should walk by. I didn't know how to deal with my thoughts on, if Obama ever walked by me and tried to shake my hand. I don't think I would have allowed myself EVER to be caught in the position. I don't think I ever hated him, I think I have feared what he was up to. Yes, I know it was fear. Maybe that is why I want Trump to make it, the other front runner is someone I would fear what they would do. I don't have any fear of Trump, for whatever reason, and I would get a big thrill out of shaking his hand and giving him a big smile:)

I suppose I am just guilty of "liking" some folks, and disliking others. I believe we will be in much, better hands if Trump is elected, that's all. You can ask me in a year or two if I still feel the same, I sure hope I will:)

Megyn Kelly acts like Trump left her standing at the altar at some point. Besides being on Fox News, she has her own show on the Fox Network, the Kelly Files, where she devotes most of every episode to hating on Trump. During the Fox News debates, she would spring a gotcha question, with Trump being pretty much the only candidate to be asked gotcha questions, then when he answered, she would tell him that he was wrong, then quote someone, or read from someone who was saying that Trump was wrong, even though he wasn't. In one case, it was about something he had accused the Obama Administration of. She asked him about it, then when he repeated the accusation, she said, "Incorrect," and then went on to quote someone in the Obama Administration denying what he had accused them of.

You can find some of Trump's full speeches here. I'm leaving this as a bookmark for me as much as for anyone else, but it's there.

Here's another that covers the topic of the RNC and the selection of a nominee.

I don't agree with everything that this woman says, but all of it is worthy of consideration, and certainly it makes for an interesting discussion.

The important thing to get out of this is not that there is no use in even bothering, but that this is the time to demand that the membership of the Party choose their nominee, not the Republican National Committee or the GOP elite. Trump has the money and the name recognition, as well as the support to mount a good fight, one that may be winnable, but I don't know that we'll ever have another chance.

Trump is running as a Republican because the way that our election system is set up right now, no one has a chance of being elected or even having his or her campaign covered by the media unless they are running as either a Republican or a Democrat.

Trump is not a political party person and, while I haven't heard this from him or anyone in his campaign, I think it's quite likely that he will turn his back on political parties after being elected, allowing, for the first time since the early days of our country, someone to be elected without being a part of a political party, in his reelection.

I truly believe that the covers are going to come off of a lot of stuff if he is elected, and that this is the reason why the elite from both parties are fighting so hard to prevent him from being elected.

Yes, the Republican National Committee has the right, according to their laws, to prevent his nomination, but as long as the members of the Republican Party do not accept this as being fair or right, they may not dare to do so.

It is neither fair nor right. Earlier, I posted the video of how the RNC rules were established. During the vote for them to be accepted, the answer from the delegates was clearly "no," yet John Boehner read from a pre-prepared script on the teleprompter that the "Ayes have it."

The rules that they will be citing were not legally adopted, and the fact that one of these rules gives the Rules Committee the right to change these rules at any time means that there are no rules at all. Think of it. If eight people can decide the change any of the rules at any time, can you really say that there are rules?

If they do decide to deny the nomination to Trump regardless, some of the covers will be off anyhow, and the GOP will not have much support in upcoming elections. Don't despair or overly fear that all power will go to the Democrats, because much the same is occurring in the Democrat Party, particularly those who are working so hard to elect Bernie Sanders, despite the fact that Hillary Clinton was given a huge handicap of more than five hundred super delegates.

Democrats too, are becoming disillusioned with their Party, and when Bernie loses, as he will, most of them will not be voting for Bernie, and many of them will be as angry with the Democrat Party as Republicans will be with the Republican Party.

This could be very good. The very worst thing that could happen is that Republican Trump supporters accept that the rules did not allow Trump to become the nominee. If Republicans are angry enough, either it won't happen or the result of it happening will be as good as if it hadn't.

If we can get rid of the two-party system, that will be a huge improvement.

A lot will happen between now and November. Hillary may be taken down by the Justice Department.

People in the past have accused me of being ignorant, and uneducated. Well, in the worlds eyes, and since I don't have a lot of degrees hanging on my wall, I guess I am. And, I don't keep up on the news and politics. I'm starting to learn since I got with other seniors (not that I can't learn from young folks as well) I learn a lot, from those against this or that, and those for.

But I think I do have some God-given wisdom and can tell when someone is not spouting bs, and that Roger dude was "dead on" the mark imo. So yeah, thumbs up @Joe Riley !! And a huge thank you to @Ken Anderson for all he is posting;)

Right, so a lot of the "hate" being spilled online probably comes from places like Miss Megyn. All the hate stuff I see is on Trump. It seems like the "non-haters" I'll call them, don't "attack" someone like Hillary, or if they do, you don't see or hear it because it's drowned out by those who won't even consider the good Trump may bring to our country. I know he's not superman, and I prayed on my knees lastnight for God to protect him and his family.

What frightens me most is the division of the people in the US:( Something I read yesterday was really uplifting though. I think it was Roger that said it. Something like 70% of democrats in some area "crossed over" and voted for Trump!! So I am realizing not ALL Democrats are Trump-haters. Of course I guess that is true for some Republicans, I don't know, I mean they may be voting for Hillary I mean. Or I guess Bernie.

I also want to say this before I forget it. I don't know the percentages, but maybe I wasn't the valedictorian at my highschool, and didn't go on to 4 or more years of college (I guess I could have just said I'm no Einstein), lol. But, I think there are plenty like me that better be payed attention to since we'll be voting too;) Trump appeals to me, for lots of reasons. I admit that I'm influenced by what others say online, and the more people sling rotten tomatos at him, the more I choose him to vote for.

Your first sentence grabbed me right off. I never agree with everything anyone says. I have to sort out what I am for, and what I disagree with. That's the ticket right there with Trump. He says some things I wish he'd had a better answer (but I want to add that I feel he knows what he's doing, exactly, no dummie), but he doesn't "dodge" and he doesn't backstep, or try to cover up. It's amazing to hear a real, human say "I don't know"!! Maybe that is not politically correct but if so, it's time to "delete" politically correct BS!!
