My daughter went to Hawaii for 2 weeks and all I got was a bag o' coffee. :D (And some hibiscus starts but that's another thread.)

I just brewed a couple of cups and even let my husband have one. It's pretty good stuff.

3 or 4 cups in the morning of Peet's medium roast. No more beyond that.

A few years ago I used to always buy San Francisco Bay "Fog Chaser" k-cups from Costco. At some point we switched to the Kirkland's brand, but I recently noticed these on Amazon and picked up a box of 36. I will put these on auto-delivery because they are quite good, plus they don't use the plastic k-cups.

Apparently Costco doesn't carry the k-cups any longer but they do have regular coffee...

Attention coffee lovers. I recently was given this recipe and it is SO GOOD. I remember making something similar back in the 80's but I have long since lost that recipe, which was made with instant espresso if I remember correctly. I was glad to find this again. (I had it topped with whipped cream and not condensed milk as shown in the video.)

I bought some more plain gelatin with my grocery order today so I'll be making the coffee jello again in the near future. :D:D Next time I'm going to add just a bit more sugar, even though I don't like sugar in coffee I think the "dessert" could be a little sweeter.

I decided to dig out the "My K-Cup" thing for my Keurig pot. I want to use up the Kona coffee that my daughter brought me from Hawaii but we don't drink pots of coffee very often. So I filled up the little refillable k-cup and made myself a cup. It turned out OK but still a little weak, even with the thing jammed with ground coffee.

I usually only need a needle from the coffee bag into my arm but might try this.

After rediscovering the San Francisco Bay Fog Chaser k-cups, I noticed that Costco now has the San Francisco Bay French Roast k-cups back in stock. Naturally I bought a box and it's really good. I guess it's good to rotate a few blends so that we can "rediscover" coffees that we used to like.

I'm such a coffee snob that I brought a bag of Black Rifle Coffee and a grinder along with me on our trip to Arlington. It won't help us here in Boston because all the Clarion has is a K-cup coffeemaker but there will be a drip coffeemaker at our hotel in Arlington, and I hate hotel coffee.
