th (40).jpg Thank you all for your warm compassionate responses at the news I shared yesterday concerning my brother-in-law and my sister...everyone of your comments helped to lift my spirits. @Terry Page I added your sister-in-law to my prayer list this morning...may our heavenly Father keep providing her with her every need and His comfort, peace, and love through this season of her earthly life. I'll be praying the rest of this week for health and healing for all who need this and I hope there are others here who will pray in agreement with me.

This morning I was out taking pictures of the moon and clouds. I need a tripod this early in the morning because I am not yet steady on my feet or with my hands this early in the morning...so the pictures are a little shaky too. Hope you enjoy them just the same.

Good Morning, All! The sun just broke through the clouds, I can turn off the light now, it's brilliant. Nice song, @Terry Page, listening to it now. Welcome back, @Mari North, it's good to see you. Hope you enjoyed your travels, and I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures whenever you get around to posting them. I'm feeling a little better today, at least so far. Yesterday was pretty much a throw away day. Other than grilling up an eggplant, I didn't do much. I have a few things to do today, but I'm not going to overdo it. Hope y'all are having a nice day. Time to go make some coffee and get everyone fed.

Phew, that was a busy morning. I needed to go to Kirkcaldy (ten minutes on the train) to do a few things, see a few people and do some shopping. Kirkcaldy has a slightly undeserved reputation as a bit of a rubbish place and it's true that some parts are not very sightly. I suspect much of its reputation dates back to the days when it was renowned for the manufacture of linoleum. That industry has gone now and while the town is a little run down in parts, there are some attractive areas and impressive buildings. I'll give a small flavour.

@Babs Hunt sorry about the bad news about your BIL babs ,A major illness effects everyone in the family,as well as friends.
.I buy an $100 ticket in a major South Austalian lottery twice a year .( the prize is I $1.5 million dollar home which is built and donated to the lottery) ....ALL the money collected from the lottery is used for cancer reasearch ..in our newly built reasearch centre ,where they have made some amazing discoveries on genre therapy ...in treatment for cancer
Sorry babs I don't mean to take away from your sadness , however If they can find a cure for cancer it would be one of the greatest discoveries/ treatments many are waiting for , as most of us have been touched by this terrible illness ..

    Good Morning everyone..

    Sparkling-hand-fan-good-afternoon.gif

6.30am here just getting ready for work as usual..but it's my last day before the Easter Break so I get 4 days off...wooohooooo....:D

Skies are laden with cloud and potentially heavy rain forecast...we're supposed to get rain all over the Easter weekend, which is a shame but kind of expected as Easter is so early this year...

Hope you all have a good day....:D

Good morning all, my weather is the same as Holly mentioned, I am meeting my daughter Caroline for lunch in Worcester later this morning, to catch up on all the family gossip I missed while I was away.

Have a great day on this eve of the Easter festivities.

Today is Maundy Thursday, a day that involves a strange tradition in the UK of the monarch dispensing coins to the poor. There is still a ceremony, for symbolic purposes, with a couple of pensioners receiving their ritual reward of Maundy money.

Curiously, and for reasons I never discovered, the famous booksellers for whom I used to work in Oxford used to give us a half day on Maundy Thursday. Perhaps they expected us to go and give thanks to our gracious sovereign. We duly went to the pub at half past twelve.

@Kate Ellery Thanks for your caring Kate. I am glad you are able to help with Cancer research. My husband and I give a monthly tithe to St. Jude's for Children. My godchild died from cancer and St.Jude's took wonderful care of her through that whole season of her life and never charged her parents (my brother and his wife) anything for that care. Cancer is a horrible disease and I hate it no matter who it is trying to destroy! It does affect everyone Kate just like you said...there is no getting around this fact.

th (38).jpg Good Morning to Everyone. :) It's going to rain over here today and probably off and on showers thoughout the Easter weekend but a little rain will not stop our Family Reunion Crawfish Boil we have each Saturday before Easter. This has been going on for about 10 years and we haven't let the weather stop any of us yet. :D Our Family started this Tradition a year after my Mom died. Before she died she asked all nine of her children to stay close to each other and although we all live in different places for the most part now...we come back together once a year to do exactly that in honor of her. My Mom's greatest legacy to us was her unconditional love for everyone. And some really good cooking. :D Moma's family reunion.jpg

Good morning everyone, got up way too early and I have too much to get done today, can't put it off.

Also, seems the weather has changed for the coast and now looks colder so need to find something different to wear on Easter. :(

    Wishing y'all a great day! :)

Yummy on the crayfish or crawfish in the pic above me.
