I agree Babs. Cruz always says "I had nothing to do with it". Blamed his staff twice….once for cheating Ben Carson out of the election and then his staffer posted a TV Ad that was doctored to make it look like Rubio was saying, "There's nothing good in the Bible". They cut out the sound and put a caption.

Cruz didn't take any disciplinary action toward his staffer with the Carson incident and wouldn't have with Rubio either except that Rubio insisted he fire him. So he did.

I'm watching/listening to the AIPAC video right now. One big thing I hear is that Trump is calling out Obama and Clinton. If other Republicans in Congress had done so all along, perhaps they wouldn't be dealing with candidate Trump. Instead, they pussyfooted around, and incurred the ire of those they claim to represent. If Republicans had attacked Obama and Clinton with the vigor they use against Trump, our country might not be such a mess.

The RNC is planning to change the rules regarding delegates just days before the inevitable Brokered Convention in an effort to make sure Trump doesn't win. This has effectively happened 5 times in history where the candidate with the most votes loses. In fact, in many cases, not even 2nd and 3rd place, etc. candidates don't win either. In one instance, not even the 6th place candidate got it.

Off topic, but I don't know where else to put it, Obama's appointment to the Supreme Court, Merrick Garland, is not a moderate as they claim. He is backed by Planned Parenthood so its obvious to them how Garland will vote on abortion. He's also against the 2nd amendment.

One particular stance Trump has on immigration is about the visa's that are being handed out to non-vetted Muslims. He wants to put a temporary hold on all travel from predominantly Muslim countries to the U.S.

His idea might seem a little strong but think about this: Paris and Brussels have been hit by terrorists but still allow common travel from other countries. With the recent terrorist attack in Brussels one would think that security would be heightened but they lowered it within 2 days of the incident. Not only that, but according to their own laws, they cannot search nor serve a warrant after 10 P.M.
I guess that the bomb makers have to sleep in and do their work after 10. Poor Islamic terrorists!

I really, really like the idea of a greatly heightened security measure compared to the complacent attitude of our illustrious do nothing leader and the way that the European countries handle their terrorist problems.

The idea of vetting unknown entities wanting to enter our country shouldn't be considered strong, racist, discriminatory, or any other thing with a negative connotation. It should be recognized as a good idea that is needed to secure the safety of our country and citizens. The fact that it's not shows how far off track we've gotten as a country. Despite years (decades?) of public schools indoctrinating students about how we're all one happy, loving, fuzzy world, the fact remains that the United States is a sovereign nation, with limited resources. Borders exist for a reason, and it's time to secure ours.

From where I'm sitting, folks (like the mud-slingers) are afraid of losing, and seem to resort to "hate" tactics, like putting another person/candidate down. It happens everywhere, not just in politics. I think it is a lack of morals, or maybe I should say, manners, just good manners. What ever happened to being a good loser, for example.

But it seems like when someone has pretty much run out of ammo, they start "inventing" out and out lies. You can see they are trying to "stay alive" but in the end, they'll drown in their own mess. I can't stick with someone that is full of lies, and sometimes it takes me awhile to spot the truth of things. But once I do, the liars have lost my attention.

I'm not blaming any, one person, I'm just saying it's so hard to watch, or read things on the news, or tv, and sometimes forums because people seem so full of hate. Not everyone, I think this place has a good way of discussing issues. But I'm just talking about the latest I heard yesterday on my truck radio. I may have this wrong, but I think it said that Cruz had made a terrible comment on Trumps wife. Anyway, I'm going to be voting, and I admit that I rely heavily on what I see on the forums. I think it is every bit as reliable as what I hear on tv or the news.

I heard somewhere recently that "some" staunch Republicans have a separate agenda that Trump disagrees with. I can't remember about what it is, but maybe someone here does. They are supposedly conservatives, or Reps., but they don't all have the same "wants" that Trump does. That was it, I read that the two-party system could be done away with. I think it is self-destructing anyway. Both Dems and Reps are going nuts on who's going to vote for who, no matter the candidates "listed" party, or the party they are running in. Boy, you can tell I don't know a lot of the politically correct banter, LOL! But I think for years probably, people have been voting strictly R or D. They felt all Rs believed this and all D's believe that. Not true it seems now.

I LOVED this, thank you Gary;) I guess I really like Trumps spontaneity too, I think it's a healthy spontaneity. He just knows a good and right thing, he has a good sense of things.

You only have a short while to go Chrissy. July.

That's when the Republican National Committee gets to either do the right thing or mess over the entire idea of "the people have spoken." by picking the republican nominee for the White House opening slot.

That's when the real fun begins. Two people get to call each other names, stomp their feet, bully each other around, and one will say "you are" and the other will say "no, you are" ad infinitum. hmmmm..........kinda sounds like a second grade recess period.

Does anyone know of a 300 pound referee looking 2nd grade school marm who might be able to moderate the upcoming childish antics of our presidential candidates?

Will this guy do? He's willing, just don't try to stop him from eating his maple-bar. maxresdefault.jpg

He claims he used to be a woman, so I think he fits.

Did anyone watch the Trump Roast from a few years ago? I was surprised at how well he took the insults thrown at him and as I recall he didn't have a lot of nasty things to say back about his roasters like some of them will do. It was over a year ago I watched that but that's how I remember it.
