Haha @Ruby Begonia I often say g'morning . I barely slept last night for some reason, although the fatigue has been really rough in the afternoons/evenings this week. Heavy storms came through. They're probably in Louisiana by now. but it's still really damp and overcast. Blue jays are eating on the balcony, I can see them through the sheers. @Babs Hunt Thank you, my friend was released Sunday. They never could seem to come up with a definitive diagnoses, but think it was related to his heart failure. His daughter says she never got my FB message, which wouldn't be unusual, since it's Facebook, and they have a lot of glitches. All's well that ends well. Hope everyone has a good day .
Greetings, from the corn and hog state. The state where bacon is born. The little city on the east shore of Iowa. It's good to be back, tell you what. Please excuse my unexplained absence. I'll just give you the short version. Blackout. 911 Emergency room. Code blue. Ambulance ride to Illinois hospital. Lots of electrical shocks. New pacemaker. 1 week in hospital. 2 weeks in rehab. Just got home. Got lots of catching up to do. Love you people.
IKE ! @Ike Willis ! We have all missed you so much, and are SO glad to see you back on the forum. Hooray ! Time for a huge "IKE IS BACK" celebration ! Sounds like an awful ordeal, and glad you are doing better again . <<<HUGS>>>
Oh MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, Ike! I'd give my lecture now, but I'm too glad to see ya, so I'll just hug you instead. For now. I was scared. Welcome home... and we love you, too... which will be obvious when you read all about us freaking out when you weren't here. @Ike Willis
Great day!!! You've just made a whole lot of people so darn happy Ike!! You've been missed by so many around here. I guess the bloodhounds can now be called off.. Fill us in. Sounds like you've been thru so much. Bless you.
Wonderful to see you back in your place here Ike we have all been stressed out of our minds worrying about you.
Welcome back, @Ike Willis! All that just for a trip out of state? I hope you have one of those personal alerts to wear or keep handy now. It sounds as if you got some great treatment, so glad to see you back in the fold .
Okay @Ike Willis, since @Mari North won't do it I will. On a bright red piece of paper please write the following and pin it to your t-shirt: In case of emergency please notify the SeniorsOnly Club. There, that should do it! We were a bit worried about you and even blamed your computer for lack of any other information. Some in fact were praying, after praying for you, that your computer would come back on line. Hmmmmm.........you have a pace maker huh? Let us know what the speed limit is on it so we can all keep up. Welcome back, Ike.
Well I would have gotten around to it, @Bobby Cole ... I was ... uh... letting the man enjoy the calm before the MariLecture starts. Yes, that's it. Speed limit on the pacemaker? Knowing @Ike Willis , I'd guess about 140.
IKE!! Doing a happy dance here! Answered prayer! Here's a little something to get that ol' heart pumping again ….
