My most recent online purchase was several packets of vegetable seeds. I'm ready for spring.

My 2+ year old coffee grinder died, and I took it apart & cleaned the 2 switches as recommended on the web, and that did not fix it. The cost of parts is prohibitive...the grind catching cup is $30, and a brand new unit is only $50 at Walmart ($5 cheaper than everywhere else.) I may break down the one I have to see exactly what failed and salvage the good parts. There are only 2 switches and the motor that could have gone bad.

I also bought a used clock radio on EBay. This is a replacement for the same model I bought a couple of years ago at Goodwill. I really like it (nice big dimmable display and a DST switch that moves the time forward/backwards an hour.) The alarm buttons on this one have worn out. I bought the new one from a business that has a 30 day return policy.

This is my week of appliance catastrophes. My daggone Ninja coffee machine is starting to leak from the bottom, but I bought a purchase plan for it.

Online purchases? Does craigslist count? our kitchenette chairs, on rollers, are stained and falling apart after only 40 years.
I saw some exceptional conference chairs on cl not far from here. The guy originally had 180 that he picked up when getting a furniture order from a military academy in CO. They wanted him to pick them up and dispose of them as part of the deal. They are beautiful and amazing and cheap. Originally three colors but only a few, in rust, left. I got 4 of them. (also on rollers). This guy has a furniture business he started up of which he was very proud. I lusted over his neatly stacked boards and other lumber. What I saw was rough sawn and he said he could sell me fence boards for a good price. (didn't mention what the good price was, however. But tried to sway me to cedar away from ash. We'll talk)

When I moved here in 2010, I left all my old furniture behind. I bought a utility trailer and furnished a big part of my house with Craigslist buys. I, too, picked up a bunch of rough-sawn lumber along the way to repair an old shed.

I haven’t bought anything for ages ..but I sold 2 dozen of my wide mouth ball quart size preserving jars as I prefer the smaller wide mouth jar now days .
I’ve kept 9 quart size so I still have plenty
It’s a ideal time to sell any preserving items with the fruit season in full swing in Aussie land

This stuff is getting expensive, especially when my cats get picky and don't eat half of it. I might have to open up a hole in the house so that mice can get in and the cats can start fending for themselves.

    Aerogarden bamboo shelf unit...

It's coming tomorrow and I hope it's not a bag of 400 bamboo slats and 2,000 screws.

My Ebay purchases of Cricut mats and a Cricut sampler arrived yesterday for the Essential model I purchased for $20 at the flea market last year.

@Beth Gallagher No I've never done this before but I've always wanted to get one. Oh, I don't know just yet what I'm going to make . This is a basic model for a beginner per Youtube videos. I will have fun with my stairstep granddaughters who were quite curious when they saw it. :D.

I have seen the Cricut stuff on HSN occasionally and it looks interesting. I'll be waiting to hear what you (and those grandbabies) think! Have fun.
