    To the admins ... Why does it seem that every thread I participate in ... the 'watched-thread' icon is soon posted next to it ? Did I do something offensive to someone/anyone ? Or something improper by forum rules ?

    I would appreciate a reply & explanation.

    It just means that you are watching the progress of that thread, @Ron Beforee . At least that is my understanding of what it means. If this is incorrect, @Ken Anderson can explain it better; but it definitely does not mean that you have done anything improper.

    That option is a setting in your profile settings, Ron. Go into your profile options and uncheck the box that says "automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply."

    p.s. That does not mean that YOU are being watched. It is a way for you to find threads that you have participated in more easily.

    One advantage is that if you watch a thread, you will get email notifications of new postings if you chose that option.

    I’d like to watch a thread that I keep loosing track of unless someone posts in it …I like to keep up with the latest on kefir / updates
    so how do I watch it ? And is that the best option …..?
    so I don’t have to go looking for it every time …..I just looked but couldn’t see where I could watch ..only seen watched threads .

    Thanks
    @Yvonne Smith

    Go to the thread that you want to watch, @Kate Ellery . At the top right corner of the page, you will see options of thread tools and Watch/unwatch thread.
    If you want to watch the thread, then click it and it will give you the option to watch the thread.
    If it is a thread that you are watching and do not want to, then the option will be to unwatch thread.
