One of my favourite places in Spain to eat, and meet up with friends and family ...and for those who like to see the menus' and the pictures on the website... here you are... http://www.santiagoskitchen.com/#!menu/cenx
I've chosen my dinner, Mediterranean Fish Kabobs, Moroccan Spiced Rack Of Lamb and the Tiramisu Trifle.
Returning to my earlier theme of street sculpture, I took these photos on a visit to the Macedonian capital Skopje. It's a curious city, almost a city of two halves, divided by the Vardar River. On one side, the modern part with a fair amount of over-the-top buildings and statues. On the other side, it's more reminiscent of Sarajevo or parts of Istanbul, with small streets, markets and cafes. The newer part of town has bizarre sculptures all over the place.
Enjoyed seeing the pics I missed. Very handsome men in your family, Ruby. Holly, I'll look at the menu later and tell you my order. Looks like a lovely place to eat and relax. Babs ....I love chubby baby legs and thighs. The oldest 2 grandsons had them.
This is a small part of the beach walking distance from where I live in South Australia ,this was taken last year during winter ..June -- Aug in Aust
I took this photo in Ghana. Accra has very many roundabouts - or circles as they call them there - some of which have cattle grazing in the middle and some of which don't.
On a trip to Iceland a few years ago, I attempted to take some photos of geysers. It doesn't really work - it's impossible to do justice to the extraordinary sight of them blasting hot water into the air. You just get a picture of a lot of steam. I like these two, however, as they give a small hint of the remarkable Icelandic landscape. I'm always reminded of a film set from some bleak sci-fi film.
