Thank you Mary. We eat weeds too. Lol Very good for your health. We grow micro greens in the house . Very easy to grow. Plant one week eat in about 14 days. We share lots Tony and share slot of what we freeze after harvest. Last year we cut 23 dozen ears of corn off the cob and froze it in freezer bags. We've given lots to family and friends.

    That's great!
    Barb,
Gardening is my favorite pastime, unfortunately I'm not able to do the large garden plot I had, but I do keep my fingers in the soil by doing container gardening. I started a pot of Basil 2 weeks ago, I'm planning on starting a pot of Anemone tomorrow.
I shared my harvest with family and friends also. They would come over knowing that there would always be something to pick.

We liked them, a lot of meat because the seeds were located in a ball at one end, the rest of the stem was all meat.

Just one note The Vines are very long like melon I had one go over my fence and into my neighbor's tree, when I pulled it out it was a ginormous squash attached to it.

Once they take Root, they take off. If there was a cold night expected I cover them with a hot cap or milk bottle. I weighed some they were around 11 lb.

We'er trying to find a few crops that are easy to grow in case food gets scarce. So I can teach the kids when they visit. One is into rural life so she would like it.
