Ok, I love Flannel, but every so-called flannel shirt I find these days is such thin material, not like the ones back in the day. Can you still buy the ones like we had a couple or 3 decades ago Ed? I can't even find them online, but I haven't looked at our Farm Equipment type stores yet ;)

Thanks for that, Thomas. The worse thing about summer is I no longer wear a jacket, where I carry keys, wallet, pens, etc.

Keep an eye on sales around holidays; Fitbit usually has deals for Mother's Day, etc.

Thanks Beth, I'll be patient and do that. One gal I know that works in the office of our building has a fitbit she got on sale for 30 or so bucks and I know they are usually quite a bit higher than that ;)

After wearing 18 years of the hospital's dress code of black and blue  I enjoy pulling on a pair of jeans and a shirt mostly. Not only because they are comfortable but I always find myself involved in some project around the house, outside of the house, or over someone else's house :D. I do have dressier clothes that are considered 'basic.' As far as what I put on my feet mostly tennis shoes but I do have dressier shoes I can slip on. I don't wear jewelry and makeup unless I'm going somewhere and I 'want' to look pretty :D.

I should probably mention that if I weren't married, I'd probably be wearing clothes that are close to half my age. When she sees the holes, Michelle sometimes makes me throw stuff away.

Do you hold on to your jeans from years gone by? Gosh I can't even fit into most of
mine from say 30 years ago, I don't feel inclined to try to either, just not my thing, I
wear what fits, losing that weight to get back into a size 10 is not my goal, but feeling
comfortable at well a bit larger size is my thing.

I still have the pair that I wore for a year and a half while hitchhiking around the country in 1969 and 1970. They're hanging on the wall in our walk-in closet. I carried a pair of short pants that I'd wear only while I was at a laundromat washing my pants, so I pretty much wore them every day.

Ken 1969 and 1970 jeans and you still have them. That is a cool thing to have in ones closet :)

Not sure, but maybe bib overalls. My dad wore those quite a bit since he was a farmer.

Bib overalls was a short lived popular fashion when I was a teenager. I remember wearing them too.:p I embroidered some designs on mine; like a bubble bee or big flower to snazzy them up :D
