A chilly (37 degrees) good morning to all from windy (north 21mph) and cloudy Iowa. Doing a little better this morning. Gonna give myself a haircut and beard trim later. That's all I got on my to-do list for today. I remember Saturday's when I was way busier. After I bought a house in the early 1960's, the chores were never ending. Yard work, painting, repairs, etc. For 10 years I had a job that involved at least half a day on Saturday and sometimes all day and half of Sunday. Those days are over now, but it seems to take me 1/3 a day just to get dressed and do meds and breakfast. Old age setting in I guess. So, have a great weekend you all. Be careful out there. Bad guys never take days off.

Aww, that's so cute @Bonnie Thomas. You aren't kidding, high winds all night blowing the turbine on the roof, which is very squeaky. I'm glad it's cooler, I have to go out and do some yard work. @Holly Saunders Hope your day's not too much of a drain on your physical resources, and you get a day of rest tomorrow. @Kate Ellery That's a lovely picture, very inspiring view. Good Morning, y'all. I love Saturday mornings, the weekend seems so full of promise. Everyone's fed, I've eaten, have coffee, and I nudged the new hose closer to the side door. If I forget to go hook it up and use it, I'll trip over it as punishment. I've even been out to feed the birds and the cats have had a nice romp on the balcony. It's a bright sunshiny day here, and it's cool enough that I won't work up a sweat doing my few outside chores, and then I can relax and recover. Hope y'all have a great Caturday. Of course this doesn't apply to 'you people', but I do love Grumpy Cat.
Good morning! Nice days here to stay I think. Hope whoever has the bad weather that you will soon see sunny days. Also for those feeling those aches and pains, hope they ease up. My aches haven't been bad lately but I haven't done much. that all changes when I start bending with cleaning. @Holly Saunders , yes, having someone cook for you would be nice after a hard day of work but my ex boyfriend liked to cook and I didn't like him cooking for me. Plus he made a big mess. So I had to eat what I really didn't want to and clean up the mess. But if I worked I would have appreciated it. My daughter has to cook too after working a full day. My son does the cooking after a full day of working but he enjoys it. My weather...looking good.

Good Morning alll.. It's an absolute Glorious Sunny morning. I've got today off, and back to work tomorrow...but hubs is hoping we can go out for lunch today and sit in the a sunny garden somewhere....not sure if I'm up to it today, but if I can I definitely will, there's nothing I enjoy more than to be out walking on a beautiful spring day..camera in hand.. Got a lot to try and fit in this week in between work.. it's my daughters' 40th birthday soon and she's flying in on Friday just for a couple of days.., and I still haven't got any presents or cards..and I don't know when I'm going to find the time to get any... Anyway....today is for trying to recover my aching bones before tomorrow...and hoping all of you are all feeling good and ready for Spring..
Good morning everyone. Slept a little later this AM, as I watched the final four last night. A lot of of sad SU fans this morning, but it should be a good game Monday night.
Sunday morning greetings from the land of corn on the cob and bacon on the hoof. It's a clear, breezy 32 degrees here with a forecast high of 74. So, I got ambitious last night and buzzed off all my hair, shortened up my beard and took a long, hot shower. Feeling great right now, except for my buggered up right knee. It keeps wanting to buckle. My doc said that could be fixed, probably with a knee replacement. But that would involve another hospital stay and more rehab. No thanks. My two overflowing baskets of laundry are getting caught up. I'm still not up to doing all that kind of activity, so I applied to senior resources for help with just laundry. They said with my income, it would be $10 dollars an hour for someone to come in and do it. Well, my dear daughter took it home with her. Problem solved. She's such a sweetheart, my driver, appointment keeper and all around helper. I've been blessed with 5 great kids. So, Have a great Sunday folks. Love you all.

We don't have much planned today and I'm fine with that. The weather is warming up and we should be in the 80s next week. We need to get tax done..I always wait til the last week..lol.. So far it has unfolded in me going out and stocking up with beer and cleaning the oven/stove or whatever you call them where you are. It's turned into a beautiful sunny day so will go for a walk this afternoon.
