Good morning everyone! Nice day here. @Karen McKenzie , we are 85 today so it's coming your way. A very warm week. @Ike Willis , wow you must be rich if they say laundry is $10 an hour for you. @Holly Saunders , enjoy your day today, seems like a busy week but bet you can't wait to see your daughter. Everyone else...have a wonderful Sunday!
Good Morning, Y'all, Happy Sunday! The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and Ryan is yowling to be let out. He's not going out until I do, so he's going to have to wait. I got a little more sleep than usual, but I'm still tired, so hopefully I can catch a nap later, after I do some chores, and before I call my Mom. I got the front weeds taken care of, and some tomatoes and carrots planted. I'll just have one pot of each, but it'll be nice to have a little fresh produce in between grocery shopping trips, assuming they take off. I've had luck with tomatoes and lettuce out there on the balcony, so hopefully the carrots will come up, and I'm also hoping to put in some lettuce and possibly beets if I can remember to buy seeds. Hope your knee's better soon, @Ike Willis. It might be worth considering that surgery, especially if it improved your daily life once it's all over. Enjoy your day off @Holly Saunders. Have a great day, everyone!
@Ike Willis , I agree with Diane... Consider knee surgery, why suffer all the time? I don't like a friend suffering.
..yeah and while you're getting your surgery , laying in the hospital being waited on hand and knee @Ike Willis ...can you spare one of your 5 kids to come and do my laundry too.. pretty please?
Ike, even though I can see why you definitely don't want to go back to the hospital or to rehab any time in the near future...maybe later you might rethink the knee replacement, especially if it will give you more freedom in doing what you want to do. In the meantime I hope you are enjoying your weekend and yes I agree that your daughter for sure is definitely a blessing to you right now. And we're all thankful you have the help you need at this time. Having you back on the Forum is like a trip to the beach...it warms our hearts and brings us all joy!
I booked all of you a room in those high rises....come on down to the beach. It's beautiful and warm here! Sorry I didn't make it up on time to tell everyone Good Morning...this morning.
Good Morning.... ...from a very wet London....@6.50am... as usual I'm getting ready to go out to the pitface...I'd much rather be in that high rise on the beach @Babs Hunt Not stopping...just wishing everyone a good day today.....and may all your problems and all your pains be little ones....
Good morning it's 7:00 am and all is quiet on a brightish Monday morning, I have just about finished my bedroom clearing/de-cluttering so will have a rest today, before starting on the worst room, the cinema I do have to drain and flush out the central heating system and that will do for today. Have a great Monday.
Hope Everyone has a beautiful day in every way. It's funny how no matter how much you enjoy something...there just ends up being no place like home. In a few days I'm going to leave my Happy Place and return to my Happiest Place...my Home with my Honey. Today I'm taking my sister shopping for a house warming gift for her lovely home which she has so graciously shared with me.Later this afternoon when the light is the best for pictures we will visit the beach one last time. I'm spent some wonderful time with four of my sisters and one brother, and at the beach, and now my heart is wandering towards home again. Home is where the heart is...and there is no place like home. But there are a lot of beautiful places to visit... and the beach and my sister's home has been two of those places for me this past week. Blessings to all of you this morning.
'Mornin all. A clear, breezy 37 degrees here on the east bank of Iowa. All my joints are telling me we have rainy weather coming. I checked the weather site and sure 'nuff, chance of rain the next few days. So, all I got planned is to kick back and watch TV or visit online sites, off and on today. Enjoy the day folks. Do something fun, even if it isn't legal. Just don't get caught.
Good morning! Sunny and warm, 80's. I have an 8:20 am Drs appt. I'm dressing what tests she'll want me to have since I'm on medicare now. I haven't gotten my supplemental card yet since I just signed up so maybe she'll wait til next appt. Hope everyone has a great day! I love rain but not walking 10 mins in it to go to work @Holly Saunders but by now you are past that. I'm just feeling anxious this morning because of the dr appt.
Good morning. I have to go to town today. Recycle center, bank, walmart, Harps. and the feed store. Maybe Atwoods too. I got a lot of burning done yesterday, still more to burn, then more to cut, I've got doctor appointments Next week, Monday in Ozark and Wednesday in Fort Smith. Then wife has an appointment Friday in Ozark. Wishing a good week ahead for everyone.
Hello kids! Looks like a shiny new week . @Holly Saunders ..just remember April showers bring May flowers..and I'm hoping for a few of those. @Babs Hunt ..glad you had such a great time..good for you. @Chrissy Page your Medicare benefits start the 1st of the month...i understand about not wanting tests..I'm ok with most..anyway..ill be thinking of you. Love these cool mornings and sunny days. I'll be out running errands later..lately I just dread all the traffic..I used to love to drive..go figure. @Terry Page ..I need to get with it on the decluttering front too. Have the best day...everyone!
Good morning to all of you. @Babs Hunt , It must be wonderful to visit with so many siblings, but your right, home is the best place. @Ike Willis , since today will be a slow one for you, how about writing us one of your famous tales? I've been missing your stories. @Holly Saunders , I hope as spring shows up in your part of the world, your pain will dwindle as the snow does leaving you in good condition for your warm weather travels. @Chrissy Page , get ready for multiple tests and blood work. That's what happened as soon as I recieved my Medicare. I woke up with my hips screaming, and I'm still tired from pushing wheelchairs at the VA yesterday, so I'm goofing off today. Tomorrow I'll start my spring cleaning, and my grandson promised to help me move furniture around so I can place my loom into better lighting conditions.
Don't worry, Chrissy, they'll probably be the usual: blood work, mammo, maybe bone density, colonoscopy. Of course, it's up to you which ones you'll have.
